Polls are pointlees on these topics cus there will always be some left out so just say what you are looking forward to and why?
My most anticipated game (on PS2) this year is GTA: SA. Do I really have to say why?
Well basically, its doing something that has rarely been done before. You hear about games with non-linear gameplay, well GTA: SA takes it to the X-treme. Infact it makes other games of a similiar genre look a load of balls.

Mine is MGS3.
and i don't think i need to say why.

one of mine would of been MGS3 but i was thinking more recent because over here in the UK the Release date is in march next year, but a very good choice.

Yes its a shame we get it late. It really pisses me off.
The only decent game thats coming out here first in europe is probably killzone.

As much as it pains me to admit it id have to agree with you. But then again its the only big-budget release coming out in the UK first anyway isnt it. MGS3 comes out in October in Japan.

And novermber 1st in America. I think we should get it one month after as well. Why do we have to wait another 4 months.

By then we would of known the storyline and evrything about the game and it will be quite hard to avoid spoilers on it because it is very popular.

Well Canada gets it the same time as states and my B'day is november 10 so I am getting halo 2 and Mgs3 with birthday money and crap and the most anticipated game for me would be metalgear solid 3 because it continues my favourite game series and hideo kojima is doing somthing new with it

my most anticipated game is GT4
dont need to say why
problem is that most of the big publishers which get the best games are either Japanese or American which means that even if the game is developed say here in the uk it will come out there first
but hey we got killzone and wipeout might make a comeback with pure and then 1 on the ps3
and im sure SCEE and their 1st 2nd party developers will cook up some more great games as time goes on"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

Oh I had thought I answered this, lol
Looking through them all I can't decide on what's what...I'm looking most forward to Tekken 5 though, that series is cool but some other too like the spinoff Death by Degrees with Nina, I need some action-type games...

I think I would have to go with GTA:SA, but there are a few other contenders for my vote. Metal Gear Solid 3 has me quite excited and so does Mortal Kombat Deception. MGS3 just looks amazing and I'm sure I will be far more riveted by the story in MGS3 than I will be with the story in GTA:SA, but then again I can't go on a killing spree in an ice cream truck in MGS3
.
MK Deception just looks like the best beat ‘em up I've ever seen. Super fun, Super gory, just the sort of stuff you want to play with your mates. Others on my most wanted would be Killzone, Area 51 and Timesplitters 3.

I am crazy over MK Deception! I mean this it the first LIVE FIGHTING KNOWN GAME for the American PS2 since SCEA is gay...THANK YOU MIDWAY! MK Deception, who's with me?

I would say i'm with you to an extent. I loved MK Deadly alliance, and from trailers...MK Deception looks great, and i most definately will get it.
I said that i'm with you to an extent, because i'm awaiting Tekken 5 more than MK deception....This time round Tekken 5 goes online as well, and the game uses a whole new engine.

Okay...Online for Japan, but I have doubts that it will NOT be online for home american PS2s...I believe that is the truth...But from what I think Sammy will bring a USA alternative, I hope...?
It's CONFIRMED for Japan, but no words from Namco-America or UK...

My most anticipated game would have to be the next Twisted Metal or the next Armored Core...

Dude the cinematics freak the heck out of me, seriously...They killed my best friend...the only way to do it is to use these voodo dolls and then BOOM
those are gone those 2 big eyes...freaks the heck out of me...
Then the other one...It was the only way I could get the mask off of me...he put it on me....he didn't deserve it...She takes the key and then he gets shut in the box...*serves him right for putting the mask on her*
Still THERE FREAKY

Gollum Actor to take role in a game for PS3
Gollum Actor to take role in a game for PS3
By: Justin Pinter
Andy Serkis, the man behind the voice and energy of Gollum from Lord of the Rings and Kong from King Kong will be giving his talents for the role of an Evil King in one of Sony's headling games for the PS3.
Serkis has also been helping in other parts of the gaming world, for example, Heavenly Sword will be using Serkis' dramatic acting skills to help in the motion capture and direction of animation for the game. Serkis stated that, "We are aiming to bring the highest level of layered, truthful, and emotionally engaging performance into Heavenly Sword."
