Nice video. I like the "show room" style in it.

They just compared UE1 to UE2 to UE3 graphics. Pretty nice, but nothing any more impressive than what I've already seen for Unreal Engine 3. Malcoms face almost looks real. Now imagine what UE4 will look like

Yea doesn't matter how better they look, It's the same damn game, I can't believe they didn't at least try to change it a bit, make it more vehicular action at least. I was laughing at the video.

ya the gameplay is still the same. i dont know about you guys but i dont like the way they move, they move so fast and quick, that always bothered me in unreal games, that why iam not a big fan of unreal.( but i still play the games but not as much as a real unreal fanboy plays). Oh ya during that german video when the guy goes to the vehicle he says something about it being pimped, he says it in english if listen to it carfully.

they look way to real. is that what in-game play is going to look like here?

Not all games will have graphics as good as that at the Launch of both systems. But yes most games will, maybe 3-4 years after their launch, games will look like that.

Thanks for the link. Personally, I cannot wait for this game (Malcolm looks so real!) and I'm happy they haven't changed it much. I'd rather it not lose it's fast-paced kill everything in your way type of gameplay. I like the new city type environments as well. Although I do hope they come out with some cool new weapons and vehicles. A lot of game devs are getting licenses for UE3 as well so I'm pretty sure well see some very nice games sooner than initially though.

i havent checked this video out but its probably only a video not gameplay graphic..lol e3 the ps3 and theyre videos which looked better then the xbox 360 gameplay graphic...well the revoloution could show videos of theyre games with evrything real (like a movie) and the gameplay is then like any normal game lol think of that

08-25-2005 #14I think I said this in another topic about Unreal games, EPIC DO NOT LIE OR OVER EXAGERATE EVER! What you see is WHAT THE GAME WILL LOOK LIKE OR EVEN BETTER!!! I have never seen ANYTHING made by Epic that WASN'T real time.they look way to real. is that what in-game play is going to look like here?
They are one of the few developers you can trust, have you not seen the UT2007 gameplay vid and screnshots? I would sell my soul, bet all my money and sever my legs off if Epics unreal 3 engine demos aren't real.
Here's epics official unreal engine 3 site:
http://www.unrealtechnology.com/html...ogy/ue30.shtml
It lists of all the cool technical amazement they can achieve visually with UE3.
Just go here and watch the E3 2004 technical demo running in REAL TIME:

All sorts of YES! I don't know why everyone isn't as excited as I am about this game on PS3. It looks amazing, and with the right gameplay will be an amazing shooter next-gen. There has yet to be a good Unreal Tourney game on a console and this looks to be the first.

Of course, I always find it hilarious that when they get foreign voices for popular American characters, they don't even try to match the voice with the character at all. I mean, a big black dude sounding like a little german man? At least get a guy with a little deeper voice, or SOMETHING.
Lots of good graphical work, and physics, but the excessie light bloom HURTS MY EYES.
I hope they don't have light glowing out of everyone and everything in the final game.Next-Gen Console Fund: $15.10

[LIVE] Reactor Zero's New PSN Title
Matt Toschlog, best known for his role as the Chief of Outrage, has resurfaced with plans for a new PSN title.
Best known for such titles as "Alter Echo" and the "Descent" series, Matt Toschlog's new company, "Reactor Zero", has been contracted by Sony to create multiple PSN games.
Reminiscent of Tetris, the PSN game, titled "High Rise" is similar to a 3D where you have limited time to manipulate a chunk of building material and create one tall stable building after the next.
"There's a lot more market for smaller-type games. If you want to do a really big PlayStation or Xbox-type game, it's $10 million to $20 million and a whole bunch of people. Publishers are reluctant to fund that because there's no creative control," Matt Toschlog said in anticipation for his new title.
PSU can't wait to see what else Reactor Zero has under their hats.
