A video of a Star Wars game by LucasArts. Looks very meh imo, but its cool how PS3 has these hidden games to add to its soon-to-be enormous library.
Btw, any info on this game?

Ignore the guys talking, they are annoying.
But this video is what has me absolutely stoked, about any future lucas arts games.
I won't spoil it, but pay attention to the light sources, and reflections.
I'm in F-ing awe.
Pay attention to the part with the board, and beyond that point.

I'm hoping its Battlefront, or some new Star Wars game. I really don't want it to be KoToR. I find that boring!

Actually, that demonstration looked fun as hell. I'd love to throw a bunch of R2-D2's at stuff.

if it does come they better have some light saber action where you can control the ls with the sixaxis
-

I want the sixaxis to be used for the force. Like you throw down to do down smash or up to do that exploding move and then the regular left right force pushes.

This game will be nothing like BattleFront, the game will be more towards the one game series they want people to mod. The Jedi Knight Series of videogames. First one was released in 1997-1998. They released Second one in 2000-2001 or so. Each one came out with an expansion the next year. I see only one flaw to this game being multiplatform. Which one will be the base platform and will it be moddable like the Jedi Knight series always has been on a console like the PS3? Sony did say something about wanting people to mod things on the PS3. I wonder if this will be one of the first games modded. Possably through a SDK through Linux?
This game will come to PS3, PC, X360 for sure. As for BattleFront 3 that is in development with FreeRadical(makers of Timesplitters).

It was in a PS3 Launch guide that PSM did. Showed a Star Wars game coming out. Just didn't say what it was about. My guess is BattleFront.

They can mimic any type of material they want, they've got a piece of balsa wood they're using in the demo.
What I'm looking forward to is as they said, a Rancor running through all of that vegetation towards a Jedi running from him.
Using force powers to fling rocks and stones to distract it.
And the way Indie had a sort of self awareness about his enviornment, imagine how a squad of stormtroopers would look gettin hit with that. And having self awareness to defend themselves and grab ledges with out needing to animate all of that.

Actually Guyspook i find most Starwars game that aren't made directly from the movies (Star Episode 3: Revenge of the sith) are actually really good.
Battlefront 1 + 2 were both quality titles, and i've nothing but good things from Knights of the old Republic. I've seen this games trailer and i'm really excited.

I'm a star wars fan and most likely will buy a star wars game for the ps3 but what really made me happy about that video is the physics shown. Think about it, take what you saw in that video and relate it to other game titles that interest you. I can imagine that physics in the other games will be this nice. For me, I can't wait for Racing games to have physics like this and action games as well. Theres nothing i hate more than running into a chair in a FPS and the chair holds me back, I mean come on.. the chair didn't even budge?! lol. I think you know what i mean and I hope we will see this amount of realistic features in the other titles that will be coming out over the years. Good post.

I'm saving my points to buy the "Change user title" option, if you wish to help me with that, a donation would be appreciated

That demo video takes a TON of processor power, again, something the Cell excels at computational power to make physics work, it's going to be nice to see how well the Xbox copes with all that

I think the xbox will handle it just fine.

I'm sure it will. There is a lot of power left untapped in the box.
But again, it's something the PS3 excels at.
