Awesome snowboard movie featuring some of the biggest names in the game teaming up to go boarding some untouched powder.

I saw CURSE OF THE GOLDEN FLOWER last week.....it's big movie, but the gfx was not all that plus the story was kinda weird. An emperor so powerful he commands many and even his wive (he forces here to drink poison so she gradually gets mentally ill and dies by the sword).
But I'll have to give it a 7 out of 10.

    The Terminator

9/10 a classic that I consider far more anxious than T2, nevertheless it's sub-standard special effects and kinda cheap acting.

    The Jackal-8/10

    synopsis:

[reveal]Russian mobster Terek Murad has declared open season on the Russian militia and the FBI over the shooting of his brother in a Moscow nightclub. He hires the Jackal, a nasty assassin whom nobody has even seen, to kill the Director of the FBI. With nowhere else to turn FBI Deputy Director Carter Preston and Major Valentina Koslova of the Russian militia enlist the reluctant services of Declan Mulqueen, an imprisoned IRA sniper, to track the Jackal down, for Declan is the only other person who can positively identify the Jackal.[/reveal]

I really enjoyed this movie.I liked Bruce Willis as a villain a role he needs to play more often. Also the gun he uses is bad ass

    The Descent-8/10

    synopsis:
[reveal]The sportswoman Sarah loses her husband and daughter in a car crash, but she survives. One year later, her friends Beth, Rebbecca, Sam and Holly, leaded by Juno, invite her to explore a deep cave in the mountains. When the expedition is about three kilometers underground, a rock collapses and blocks the access tunnel, trapping the group inside the cave. With limited supplies, they try to find a way out, but sooner they face a hungry and savage breed of predators.
    [/reveal]

I was surprised by this movie,I really liked it,and there is a sequel in the works

Jackass 2 was the last film I watched. In parts it's hilarious but it does seem to drag a little. Jackass 2 has inspired me to install an airbag into my doorbell to deter people from waking me up on Sunday mornings.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind - Not the usual funny role for Jim Carey, but he manages to pull off a serious facade quite well. I loved the script, very original and a complete mind **** at times. 9/10

    Blood Diamond: an easy 10/10
IF you have not seen this film then I highly recemond you see it.
IMO this is the best film of 2006.

"An ex-mercenary turned smuggler (Leonard DiCaprio). A Mende fisherman (Djimon Hounsou). Amid the explosive civil war overtaking 1999 Sierra Leone, these men join for two desperate missions: recovering a rare pink diamond of immense value and rescuing the fisherman's son, conscripted as a child soldier into the brutal rebel forces ripping a swath of torture and bloodshed across the alternately beautiful and ravaged countryside. Directed by Edward Zwick (Glory, The Last Samurai), this urgent, intensely moving adventure shapes gripping human stories and heart-pounding action into a modern epic of profound impact."

Ok so I actually watched this last month, but damn was it a good film, and before you say anything, did any of you ever think that this kind of film would be a horror film? I thought not. D

Lots of spills, thrills, insane amounts of references to Shaun of the Dead, and it's hilarious to boot. I'm not even going to mention anything about the film because it's barely been out at the cinema, but if you loved Shaun of the Dead, then you'll love this, just make sure that you have an insanely strong stomach because at times it can sicken the strongest people.

    10/10 - Fabulous!

I watched In Pursuit of Happiness last night.

I thought it was really good. Will Smith was surprisingly good in this serious role.

    I'd give it a 9/10.

Very interesting film with pretty good characters. You can tell the director/writer is very influenced by Tarantino.
