I don't see why one would have to be surprised that Will Smith is a good actor; sure, he's had some movies where acting wasn't essential (Wild Wild West; I, Robot), but I always realized he was a pretty good actor.

Perfectly okay movie. Didn't blow me away, but I bloody liked it
Reminded me somehow of Sin City with all the effects.

I just finished watching "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo", an anime movie. It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The story seemed shaky at first but then it all comes together towards the middle and hits home at the end. Absolute must see.

    Score: 9.5/10
Trailer: Toki wo Kakeru Trailer on Stage6

    Jesus Camp-

a very interesting look into an evangelical kids' summer camp. it was at times shocking, but most of all, it was eye opening. it had a political undertone that pulled it together nicely.

i hope im not offending anyone when i say that the kids at that evangelical camp were being brainwashed. i don't know many evangelicals, but if they're all like that....then god helps us, lol.

It is a must see. for example, (its a documentary) a guy gives one statistic that like, 25% (?) of america is evangelical (that sounds a little high, but i thought thats what is was) and if everyone of them voted, they could sway any election they wanted. cough* George Bush cough*
once you see their determination and spirit, you WILL be scared. personally, i was scared for the future of the country.

I saw that "The Pursuit of Happyness" was recommended highly on the previous page so I watched this movie as well.

In my opinion, this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Will Smith performs beautifully in this movie, even when it's not what he usually does. A very inspirational story with excellent characters, all I can say is wow. I think I'm about to buy the Blu-Ray version...

Crank, on DVD. 8/10. Fast paced action, awesome editing techniques. The only thing I didn't like was that public sex scene and the ditsy blonde character.

Finally watched "The Departed". Possibly one of the best movies I've seen in recent years and I love their excessive use of the f-word.

That pretty much sums it up. And I just wasted 2.5 hours of my life watching this movie then.

    Just got done watching Eragon.

It was pretty good. Not bad at all. Of course there will be another one coming. Not hard to figure that out. ^_^

But I'd give it a 8/10 cause it was slow in some parts.

The last movie I saw was Mr. Brooks and I really did like it, and I can say that Kevin Costner is really back in the saddle of being a good actor. 9/10.
