Saw 3 - Big fan of all three of the movies, the third one did not let up. I'd give it a 9.2, though I'm always to generous with scores.

Syriana - Bit hard to follow, but it was still good. 8.4

I forgot to rate 'Holiday' a saw last week in the theatre. My GF won us tickets to see it a week before the premiere.

It was pretty boring although the 'good feel' ending made up for it a bit, that’s why I’d give it an average 7 rating.

(From a guys point of view)

Not worth to see in the theater, that would be a waste of money but a nice rental with the misses.

I've noticed Christmas movies are rampant nowadays, regardless if they have a good storyline or not. As long as their are a plethora available for the population to waist their money on through the "holiday spirit" manipulation, it will never end.

I was going to rent that soon, I shall now steer WELL clear of it, thatnks.

Well I watched another film last night.

    Dune
Easily one of the greatest Sci-Fi films of all time, set on the Planet Arrakis where the Emporer asks the Atreides to harvest spice for the Guild, the Emporer however has a plan to remove the Atreides by using the Harkonnen to remove their leaders from Arrakis, only to find that Paul Atreides doesn't die and forms an alliegence with the Fremen.

The storyline and plot is epic, and if you have read the book then you will almost certainly love this film. If you haven't read the book then you will still absoloutely love this film, go rent it, buy it, whatever, just own this masterpiece!

10/10 - For the epic story, great script, and awesome acting, fantastic cast too including Sting, Patrick Stewart, Virginia Madsen, Sean Young, and Kyle MacLachlan just to name a few.

Just recently saw Grandma's Boy on Dvd. While mildly entertaining, I saw absolutely NO point in this film. None.

Well Lynch is one of the greatest semi abstract film makers ever. I'm a big fan.
I dunno if Dune deserves 10/10 it takes a bit long to get going, but it certainly is great.

A friend of mine hyped this one bigtime, so It was quite a downer to watch it

    8 Crazy Nights 8.5
I loved this movie (allthough I'm not a big fan of movies where they suddenly start singing), typical Sandler style which suits me fine.

    Talladega Nights 7.8
Very funny movie, me like, nuff said^^

Last night I flicked over to this dark thriller called Kalifornia. It was about a group of journalists on a road trip visiting the Black Dhalia murder sites, unaware that there's actually a serial killer amongst them. It does sound like a slasher film but it's far from that.

I really liked this, it certainly kept me gripped. Juliette Lewis played the naive, constantly in denial girlfriend ("Oh no Early wouldn't do such a thing") of Brad Pitt (Early) who leaves a trail of corpses behind where ever he seems to go. David Duchovny and Michelle Forbes were the journalists taken along for a ride.

Sex, violence, action, suspense, plot twists, it has a lot going for it...I'd give it an 8/10.

    Saw the Movie Eragon: 7/10.

Pretty enjoyable movie but the action were still lackluster and few and far in between. It would be better if they had a good backstory about the war between the dragon riders (showing many of them) against the New King.
