Christian Bale wouldn't torture his body like that if he wasn't a method actor.

I always think of Daniel day-Lewis when I think of Method acting. And of course, Macho Man. http://youtu.be/9XhxS0_1fMw?t=1m21s

Holy hell, this blew me away. I didn't know exactly what this movie was about. I was expecting an end of the world type movie, but it's actually a psychological film about one man's schizophrenia. Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain are phenomenal (You're gonna nominate her for The Help but not this? Really, Academy? Really?) and the last act of the film is just really really intense, but not exactly in the way you would expect. It's so brilliant and it's a shame it was overlooked by so many people.
Just watched this. It was definitely different and interesting, but I'm not sure what to make of it after one viewing.

Momento 9/10- What a mind fuck! I enjoyed every minute of it too. The movie plays in reverse and in segments. I know it sounds strange because it is but it is a phenomenal movie. Christopher Nolan definitely made one of the most original movies with the way this one played out. You constantly try to put together the puzzle but it just keeps throwing curve balls at you. Watch it!

I bet if you edited Memento from end to start, scene by scene, it would make sense lol.

    Immortals: 6/10

Wow, what an odd movie. It felt bi-polar because a lot of the plot seems like it was written along as they filmed lol. It had some pretty good moments and I like the art direction in some of the CGI scenes (especially the gods killing and everything around them moving in slow-mo) that reminded me Timeshift a bit.

The Woman In Black - 7/10

As most of the reviews said, it's nothing unique, but it's well done and one of the scarier horror films I've seen.

    Dr. Strangelove - 9/10

Not only is this movie very funny, but it has an interesting plot as well.

I actually felt sorry for Tom Hardy's character and legitimately wanted him to win the final fight.

If you've not seen the film, and still intend to, don't read this:

A bit slow at times, but I liked the ending, with the selection of music used.

    7/10

Someone tried that. It works but it turns the movie from amazing to average. Typical point A to point B movie.

I actually hated Hardy's character so much, especially the way he was treating his dad...that was hard for me to watch because I can somewhat relate, but goddamn his father was at least trying to be in his life and constantly reached out and this fucking asshole told him to fuck off...

Yeah that definitely made the movie. Pretty bold step imo but it worked to perfection. I like Nolan even more after watching that movie.

Rifftrax of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part I. My fucking god I would NEVER be able to sit through the movie without the Rifftrax included. It's so fucking boring and NOTHING HAPPENS.

    Movie on it's own: 1/10.
Movie with hilarious Rifftrax included: 9/10 (yes the Rifftrax make that much of a difference).

Thanks VENGEFUL_BLUR for the avatar and spyrde for the sig!

Love, love LOVE it. The love between two robots can be so touching. My outright favourite animation.

    The Mechanic - 8/10

    Pretty good action thriller.
