I'm gonna start going with a letter grading scale. Numbering seems a little too specific and precise to me.
Middle Men - C+
Luke Wilson gets involved in the financial side of the porn industry. Gets in over his head with mobsters, FBI, conmen, etc, etc.
Nothing too special, but it was a fun movie, worth a watch if you have Netflix. Not so much if you need to really make an effort to make it available.

Kung Fu Panda 2
2011
Score 8 out of 10
Good movie. So basically it takes place after the first Kung Fu Panda. In this one, they fight a peacock who fights with kung fu AND weapons. You also find out more about Po's past and you see further character growth from Po.
It looks really good, and there are some cartoon parts of it that look good as well. Even on DVD, everything is in high detail from the dumplings to the fur on cute little bunny rabbits. The music compliments the movie pretty well too.
Voice acting is great. Just like in the first movie, you have Jack as Po, Jackie Chan as the monkey, Jolie as Tigress, and even the peacock has a sinister voice.
The story in this movie was not as good as the first Kung Fu Panda. It's still pretty good though. It also includes some funny and comedy moments.
Would I recommend this movie? Yes. Would I buy it and own it on DVD? Yes, but only because of it's part of the Kung Fu Panda series.Awww! Little baby bunny! <3

I really wasn't a fan of Kung Fu Panda 2. I found it to be a boring retread of the first film, which I actually did like.

Just got back from watching it. Was gonna write a review, but you pretty much hit the nail on the head.
Was wavering between B+ and A-, but I liked it enough to step it up to that A-
Lizard is one of the best villains, plus I can't stand Tobey Maguire's face nor Kirsten Dunst, and I love Emma Stone.

Brick (2005)
Joseph Gordon Levitt plays a high school kid investigating the death of his ex girlfriend, taking the role of a vigilante. This is a pretty bizarre movie. It's film noir placed directly into the setting of a high school, which is very strange, but once you can overlook its absurdity, it's pretty enjoyable. It's a pretty dark story but almost a satire in its homage to the film noir genre.

This review from IGN of Spiderman: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/...n-movie-review
is quite inaccurate I think. I'm much more sympathetic to this movie as I liked it for the most part. IGN said it feels to "samey", I disagree with that. We all knew it was a reboot, so WTF did they expect? Saying it doesn't need to tell the origin story again, I don't quite agree with that either I don't think. They wanted to start from scratch, and if they just went and told another story, then we'd all be wondering "why all the actor change" etc.
And it's a fucking LIE that this movie copys the Dark Knight in ANY way shape or form. I have no idea what there talking about there. And Captain Stacy is the more "fully formed" story arcs in the story is garbage too. All the characters are done well.
My biggest gripe with the film and probably for other people is that it tends to DRAG ON too much with boring scenes. Scene after scene is about social drama crap. And this is going to turn some people off. But then again, it's all well acted! Not to mention that this film isn't anywhere near the cheesiness of the last trilogy. And everybody with prefer Gwen Stacy over Mary Jane. The relationship here is not as corny as the last trilogy.
Spiderman looks far better and realistic in this movie then in the past trilogy with their CGI. He doesn't look fake in this movie. And his webslinging looks more realistic as they look more time to make the swings all seem plausible. They look effing SWEET! And they have better sound effects for Spidy's web shooting too.
The Lizard..... This damn thing is OMFG scary. He was well done, and will evoke a sense of fear in the audience.
Anyway, guys it's a good film if you can get over the boring stuff. Oh, and did I mention the soundtrack is also nice to listen to?

The Amazing Spider Man (spoilers)
7.5/10
I'm a huge Spidey fan and was stoked to see the film. And while all the ingredients worked - the dialogue of the characters, the actors in their roles, the directing, etc. - it never quite had the Spider-Man magic. For one, it took about 50 minutes for it to turn into a Spider-Man film. Yes, Peter Parker has always been a brooding teen, but I get enough of that in the comics. If I'm paying to see Spider-Man, I want to see Spider-Man - not his depressed wimpy ego. Instead, we are offered well-acted but dragged on scenes of awkward first exchanges between Pete and Gwen, Pete being angry and sad, Pete being Pete. It's the first Marvel film I'd safely call a chick flick.
While the romance is done very well, it's also the problem of the film - the strongest aspect is the romance, not Spider-Man. Lizard is a dull character with no humanity that they somehow force into being good towards the end, Parker is constantly doing stupid shit in public that would make anyone with half a brain realize he's Spider Man (and yet no one seems to guess that the suddenly buffed-up, super-fast, bend-a-football-pole with a football kid is the new vigilante in town), and there are scenes of dialogue between the cast that just drag on, and on, and on...
But despite all that? I still really liked it. When Spider-Man finally does show up in all his glory, he's worth the wait. Whoever choreographed the fight scenes did a great job at showing just how nimble a character Spider-Man is, and the CGI on the Lizard was fantastic - the guy looks humanoid and menacing all at once. There's plenty of great humor to spice things up, like when Peter first realizes something strange is going on inside his body (the toothpaste scene is hilarious), and the dialogue I just complained about? There are plenty of fun quips here and there to make it lively.
Finally, Stan Lee. His cameo is the best cameo he's had in a Marvel film yet (my opinion).
So, all in all, a good film, but not for reasons I'd say relate to the titular character. It should have been titled: "A Kid named Peter Parker and a Girl Named Gwen Stacey Fall in Love in a Fun Romantic Comedy that Eventually Turns into a Super Hero Movie Holy Shit and the Sequel is Probably Going to Kick All Sorts of Ass Now That We've Established the Characters and Gotten All That Other Shit out of the Way: Spider-Man."
Raimi's 1 and 2 are better films even if Webb's has better characters and character growth. However, if the sequel they're setting up for lives up to what they continue to hint at throughout the film, then the second in this series might be the best of the bunch.

Savages: 9/10
Would have been 10 out of 10, but, so yea. Other than that, this is film-making. This is the return of the Oliver Stone we love from the 80's and 90's. Surreality. This film has sex, drugs, violence and phenomenal fucking acting from Salma Hayek and Benecio Del Toro. Benecio is the real sick fuck here in this flick. I mean, he will be one of those memorable villains when this movie becomes a cult classic. He's right up there with Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men, and he's more sick than him! I loved every minute of this film. It's very graphic, like Natural Born Killers, except a little more realistic and not as mindless. There's also quite some nudity, but nothing like Shame. Do not miss this one guys. It was so intense and graphic that the retarded couple sitting next to me making out and talking like idiots left the theater. I wanted to bash their heads like Ryan Gosling did in Drive. Aside from what I mentioned in the spoiler if you have seen it, this is a great flick to watch and to prepare for TDKR, it's a great appetizer. Savages is the modern day Hamlet because the narration, the characters and the plot certainly feel Shakespearean. Do yourselves a favor this week.
Edit: Oh and as for the reviews of this film? Horseshit. This is one of those movies that is rated poorly.Last edited by DreDayDetox; 07-07-2012 at 04:59.

The Amazing Spider-Man -7/10-

Bridemaids
2011
No Rating
I'm sorry, but I strongly disliked this movie. I couldn't even get half way through this movie. I ended up ejecting the disc and sealing it in the envople. It wasn't funny.
It's been a LONG time since I've watched a good comedy or a comedy that makes me laugh, so maybe I just don't like comedies done from 2010 and beyond. I don't know. I found some funny parts in Kung Fu Panda 2 I laughed at, but I just didn't find this movie funny. At all.
For some reason critics and people like it, so it's probably not my type of movie or comedy.
If I had to rate it, I'd give it a 5 out of 10.Awww! Little baby bunny! <3

Bridesmaids is okay. It's a really stupid movie. Every scene is just a set piece for a joke. The jokes dictate the plot, when it should be the other way around. Oh, and don't get me started on Melissa McCarthy. Was she funny? Yeah, she was probably the best part. But an Oscar nomination? She was just playing the fat chick stereotype.
