This is not a bad remake, considering how many there are, and it's by Zack Synder, no less. This is also before his slow-mo shots were in movies too, or unless I missed a few in this one? It's not a bad little zombie movie. Feels realistic in the sense that people use their nearest resource, the mall, to take shelter. The characters seem somewhat cliche, but they each have a personality. I liked Ving Rhames the most. Sarah Polley was alright too and I guess this is how Robert Rodriguez took an interest in her for Planet Terror. While this may be a realistic portrayal of the zombie apocalypse (and the baby birth still sticks with me today), it's not my favourite. My favourite is between Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland.

I just really love this movie all those like it. This was my first Kristen Stewart movie and i'm glad because I like her and she is a good actress (twilight doesnt count as a movie so i dont her on that). Anyway, the characters are great and the whole movie feels natural.

Sarah Polley is in the film? Oh God, she's the writer and director of the abomination known as Take This Waltz which is the worst movie I've seen this year. Have you seen the original Night of the Living Dead? That's probably my favorite zombie movie. It's public domain: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2956447426428748010.

Lol I know. I still haven't seen it either. But the first Dark Knight is awesome. Don't know storywise if you "need" to, but you gotta see it either way

Firstly disclaimer, I am the type of person who always watch series chronologically, ESPECIALLY great works.

So with that, I recommend you watch the trilogy in order. Batman Begins to get the background and set up of Gotham and Batman. Then move on to TDK and TDKR.

I actually watched Batman begins and The Dark Knight yesterday for the third or fourth time and I couldn't wait any longer to see TDKR.
Watched it today and will definitely watch it many times more when the blu ray comes out.

Yeah I despise the film. The director Srđan Spasojević goes on record acting like the entire film is an allegory for the Serbian film industry but that's just bull$#@! damage control. The guy just wanted to make some oddly specific fetish film for his sexual pleasure and his sexual pleasure only.

    Stupid, yet entertaining. Loved it.

And Jodelle Ferland's cameo made me happy (Silent Hill girl).
