The Last Boyscout -8.5/10- Love this film.
"When I was 12, I milked my eel into a pot of turtle stew. I flogged the one-eyed snake, I skinned my sausage. I made the bald man cry into the turtle stew, which I believe my sister ate. At least I hope she did."

2 Days In The Valley - 7/10
Pretty entertaining movie about intersecting lives. Charlize Theron gets naked and has sex in this, so that alone makes it worth watching.

Caught a free advance screening of Tim Burton's upcoming film "Frankenweenie" yesterday (reviewing it for another site). It was good: 3.5 out of 5.

New Jack City: 4/10
Theres a lot of bad things about this movie. Such as, the directing, the writing, the acting, the production, the overall movie. But it was face paced enough to be mildly interesting throughout all of the horrible acting and directing. I think Ice-T and Chris Rock say the word "man" about 200 times.you game? http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=55990

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
A comedy/horror that approached the subject matter with a really interesting perspective. It's classed under "horror" by necessity but I wouldn't call it scary by any means. Wouldn't even call it a 'stupid but good', as you'd typically expect from something like this, I think it's a legitimately good movie and I really enjoyed it.
A
P.S. +rep to anyone who can spot the character I thought of from a different movie/series, whose actor plays a role in this

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 8/10
When this movie ended I was surprised at how little action was included. I'm not saying that in a bad way though, as most of the movie was spent on character development, which made for an engrossing experience. However, there's not much payoff in this movie. So ultimately, this works as a great set-up for a sequel.
By the way, the orangutan in this movie was straight fuckin gangsta.Last edited by Ixion; 09-28-2012 at 17:55.

The Avengers 8/10. Would have liked to see a little more of the 'team' working together.

Looper
Saw it at midnight and it was great. The best hardboiled time travel film since the first two Terminators. Did not blow me away but surprised me. 4 out of 5.

Get the Gringo - 8/10
Pretty entertaining Mel Gibson film about a dude in a Mexican prison. Apparently it is a sequel to Payback (maybe) but I haven't seen that in a while so I can't be sure.
