So would you say Wreck-It Ralph is a movie for gamers? Cause that's the only reason I would watch it, for the game references. I mean the minute I saw Mega Man and Zangief in the trailer, I was curious.

Looking forward to what you think about Cloud Atlas. I'm curious about that one, too.

Mmm I wouldn't say for all gamers, probably not as much as say the Scott Pilgrim movie was. Wreck-It Ralph is still very much a movie for the kids. It definitely helps with getting a lot of the references here and there, but I wouldn't say there's a lot of them. Being a kid at heart is the most important factor I would say on how much someone will enjoy the movie. Being a gamer makes it better.

ARGO: 9/10
Ben Affleck does it again! He's just so damn good as a director, maybe he should stick to that instead of contract jobs with shitty actresses with shitty personalities like J-CUNT, I mean J-Lo.
No, Argo was a great film, a nod to all films of the 70's and 80's, despite that not being the main story, but based on a true, declassified story, by ex-CIA man, Tony Mendes, who is played by none other than Ben Affleck. The writing is great for this, as well as the editing. It literally keeps you in suspense in some parts, especially near the end, no thanks to the editing and wonderful writing. This is definitely getting some Oscar noms.

The Campaign, with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. The movie had some funny parts and told somewhat of the sad truth about politicians, but I felt a little disturbed by some of raunchiness...and of course the baby hitting. :P

Behind Enemy Lines -6/10- The Serbian sniper in this film reminds me of Niko Bellic from GTA IV...

Amazing Spiderman 6/10
Some really crappy acting on the lead mans part he kept doing Stevie wonder head shakes, I dont want to know how bad the rest of the takes were if these were the best.
It entertained me but when the parker guy spoke I was cringing.[IMG][/IMG]

Cloud Atlas Mini-Review
CLOUD ATLAS

Just got back from an advance screening of Cloud Atlas - an inspirational, moving epic film. There are some truly poetic scenes and lines of dialogue. It's also a visual feast at times. My mind is still trying to wrap around the whole story, featuring multiple time periods and clocking in at almost 3 hours. But by the end, it really finds itself despite lacking a "boom" revelation. Yet that's fine, especially if you are a hopeless romantic or believer in the human spirit.
A solid 4 out of 5.
If you haven't heard, seen, or read anything about Cloud Atlas, check out this great extended trailer:

Nice, I can't wait to see it! The writing alone must have been really hard because each actor plays 4-6 characters in the movie.

Smokin' Aces 8/10
A fun movie to watch. I love its art style, that borrows a lot from Tony Scott. The twist wasn't that great though, but the characters are. You really kinda root for all the characters at some point. Even the crazy neo-nazis.

This seemed to be the most appropriate thread to announce that I have been brought back on board 411mania.com as a Movie Reviewer. Apparently the found/owner and the Movies section editor "were very impressed with your submission, & we review a lot of submissions constantly." Don't think I'm a phenomenal writer but happy to hear the praise. I wrote as a Games Columnist and represented them at E3 2012 before starting writing here for PSU.
Please keep an eye on my 411mania profile for my full reviews of Cloud Atlas, Wreck-It Ralph, Lincoln, & more!

The Amazing Spiderman solid 9/10
So much more entertaining than the Avengers. The film really captured the essence of 'Peter Parker'

The Campaign 5/10
It's really funny at start, when it introduces the characters and some of the jokes, but it falls flat on its ass and becomes cliche quickly near the 2nd act and so forth. I also laughed less as it progressed. I had high hopes for this because Will Ferrel is my favourite comedic actor, along with Zach Galifnakis...so, I thought I would see a little Hangover meets Cowbell in this.
