I watch a lot of Korean and Indian foreign films.. and recently I re-watched 3 idiots.. A great movie about University, life in general, and really funny. Starts off a little slow but then just kicks into full gear the rest of the movie.
I have to say one of the best movies I've seen the past 5 years. I give it a 10/10.
Closed Caption Button on Youtube for English as well so anyone can watch.

Carnage: 7/10
Not exactly my cup of tea, but I love the way it's written for the screen. The dialogue motivates the action. John C. Reilly is funny and Kate Winslet is a damn fine actress, and not to forget Christopher Waltz who again never ceases to amaze me.
Boogie Nights: 10/10
I loved this film. Paul Thomas Anderson is the definition of contemporary film-making for today. Seriously. I know that makes me sound like a hipster, but just watch a movie from him and you'll see how this guy pays tribute to the start of cinema in America.
I loved every minute of this movie, and especially the coke dealer's house scene and the ending. That was so awesome. Every actor in this movie acted their way like bosses. Burt Reynolds and Don Cheadle were my favourite actors in the film. Burt Reynolds looked like a suave and cool George Lucas, with lots of style, while Don Cheadle was hilarious with his Rick James look. Oh and the cinematography is awesome, but what's sad about the scene where Dirk fucks for the first time is that the equipment you see on their set is the same equipment we're using. We literally have the same lights in the film course I'm taking lol.Last edited by DreDayDetox; 11-16-2012 at 03:44.

The Amazing Spider-Man
It's unfortunate Sony made a reboot so soon, and there are predictable parallels to Raimi's opening movie. However, giving credit where its due... Marc's direction and Andrew's performance make an otherwise unnecessary movie enjoyable. The modernized script was pretty much a requisite, otherwise the movie would've been a line for line copy of Raimi's Spider-Man.
On a side note to Marc, scrap the POV shots. It's a movie, not a theme park ride. Also, the subway scene when parker gets his abilities is a bit rushed. Where any other director would naturally and slowly get into it, within one minute Parker is pulling off a series of complicated maneuvers.

Exactly what I thought of the movie. Too parallel to the first. It felt like he was playing it safe to appeal to the Raimi version and his fans. I wish this movie was made instead of the Raimi ones, because I only enjoyed Spider-Man 2. I never found Tobey funny either.

The Watch.
Absolute fuckin drivel. Stiller does his finest cliche acting, jonah hill is thin and still unfunny, and the other fucker is an unexpected surprise...showing a stiffness not seen since jimmy savile's backstage top of the pops party. 1/10.

High Plains Drifter 8/10
It was different from the typical western I watch but I thought the story was interesting. Taking over a whole town to take revenge on those who wronged him is pretty good. It was entertaining to watch.

Salmon Fishing in The Yemen: 6.5/10
charming, enjoyable movie. It was of a lower tone which is what I wanted at the time and I came away pleased. I am also favoring Emily Blunt more and more.you game? http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=55990

Skyfall - A
It takes balls to wait half the movie to introduce the main villain. Bardem doesn't disappoint in his screen time, though. All your bacon are belong to me.

The Campaign-5/10 couple of funny moments but not that great.
The Watch-2/10 pretty much hated it.

The Dark Knight Returns Part 1: 8/10
I liked the animation style for this a lot and some of the techniques were nicely executed throughout, like the guns in fog sequence. I don't like the voice actor for Commissioner Gordon, that could have been Bryan Cranston, and he did do the voice in the Year One animated movie. But it's nice to see animated DC movies. For whatever they lack in film, they make up in animation. And by lacking in film, I mean hardly putting out any movies.
