Rate The Last Movie You've Seen

I don't mind Prometheus getting heat. It's controversial. But when action blockbusters that are absolutely generic and get better scores, that kinda bugs me.

Even if they aren't that generic, they are not visionary and grand like Prometheus is. I found it very ambitious, mysterious, and just exhilarating. Much more than anything like The Avengers can ever hope to be. Thats a popcorn flick while Prometheus is wondrous, and ethereal.

I kept getting deja vu and thinking it was all too similar to Alien. Obviously its a prequel and how Alien came to be.

Skyfall - 9/10

Haven't had this much fun with a Bond movie in a long time. Still surprised at how well the series refreshed itself with this movie, especially when they had the daunting task of trying to have us say goodbye with respect to some of the old traditions and say hello to the new characters and ideas. And yet, it all felt right. Now to see how the first post-Skyfall Bond movie will be.

Remake. I've never seen the original, which is probably a good thing because I could go into the movie with an open mind and not worry about connecting or having elements of the original.

The movie is nonsenical, poorly timed, cliched and just a fucking joke.

Sorry but it was awefull. I like Batman, I like the first 2, but seriously, this was a god awefull movie.

I loved the first 3 but this one was horrible IMO.

TDKR was sooooo good. I can completely understand why some people might not like it as much, though (the runtime, what happened to Bane near the end, not as much Batman throughout, etc.)...but I loved it. Especially since I watched all 3 within a very short timeframe, making it easier to tell how effective it was at concluding the trilogy.

When you can explain to me why two armies of ARMED people would run at each other and the brawl, then you might be half way to explaining the nonsensical plot line.

What are you talking about?

Only Bane's men were armed and they were firing at the charging police officers. You can clearly see as the police officers are running, many of them are getting shot and falling. Ofcourse once the armies are too close only an idiot will shoot and risk friendly fire

The first 2 Daniel Craig ones were good, very much needed makeover for the series. I saw the 92% on RottenTomatoes and thought Skyfall would rock - that might have been part of my problem (high expectations). However, when he can be on a remote island in the Orient and hundreds of military can arrive via helicopter, but then later when he intentionally hides out within driving distance of London with a much more important person to protect and he has to take on like 30 guys by himself with no back up arriving?

The first half was ok, but the second half of the movie got really unbelievable. It felt more like a bad western or a schwarzenegger movie - definitely not Bond.

I think I would have at least been firing to put the machine gunners off.
And they dam well would have mowed those cops down in real life.

Aside from that ,what exactly was Banes goal? The 99%? Smacked of current affairs. It was idealistically stupid.

Not to mention the fact that 3000 cops managed to march unheeded to Banes HQ.
