    Argo - 9/10

The climax has some great suspense, although it might seem a little cliche. I wonder how accurate the story is to the actual events, considering how outlandish it seems to real life.

    Fright Night: 6/10

Just to not confuse anyone, this is the remake with Colin Farrel. I haven't seen the original, but I didn't like this one too much. It almost felt like a straight-to-dvd title. There is some horrible colour correction going on, or at least not creative enough, and there needs to be a tiny bit more lighting in night scenes. I get it's a horror, but it shouldn't subject itself too stereotypically to the norm of its genre. I feel it could have been longer and a lot more developed. Everything goes so fast, for the sake of getting the plot out of the way. The characters are really pool and Colin Farrel acts weird.

The only good thing I enjoyed about this was Imogen Poots. What a sexy woman she is. I can't believe the character in the movie would refuse a chance to pound that ass for some stalker bull$#@!. Damn she is just so beautiful.

District 9 - 8.5/10 I thought this was a cool movie. I didn't like the main human character (I don't know his name) but more towards the end he was ok. I had to root for the aliens the whole time, the humans were real dicks lol

Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky.

    Zero Dark Thirty: 8/10

The Hurt Locker is still the undisputed champ, and her crowning achievement, but Zero Dark Thirty leaves a very satisfactory impression by the end. Unfortunately, I can't review this properly (and perhaps another viewing is required once it hits blu-ray) without sounding biased or irrational because I had a bad experience, which I will cover in spoiler tags at the end of the post.

So here's what I like about it. The last sequence is amazing. I love the cinematography there so much. It's what gave me that aforementioned satisfactory impression. That was really, really well done and made me feel immersed in the experience. I loved the score as well, it worked very well with the pace of the film and that last sequence, where it shined. I love Jessica Chastain. She's quite a remarkable actress. There's a solid moment in acting in one scene of the movie where she just puts the smack down on this guy.

That being said, I didn't like how her character is almost a poor man's version of Carrie Matheson from the show, Homeland. There are some similarities between the two, but there also distinct characteristics, like the fact that Chastain's character is more emotionally stable. However, i would have loved to see Claire Danes own this role. Or at least someone from Homeland, in this movie. Guess it would make it too wired. There's also a lot of cat and mouse scenes, and it doesn't really put any suspense, until the end.

But the positives outweigh the negative, and as I said before, I need to see this again to give it a "true" conclusive rating.

Now, be prepared for another long read, because this was my experience. I need to project my anger in this hate-fueled rant to cool off, and let me just say that I wish I had the balls to do something.

    TL;DR? Cool story bro?

A couple talked throughout the entire movie, watt do?

Pool Hall Junkies 9/10- I look at this movie as The Color of Money of our generation. This movie is awesome. It has the amazing trick shots and witty comedy you could want from a movie that focuses on billiards. Such a great flick.

Django Unchained - 9/10- Sorry, I just had to watch it again, unbelievable film, again, $#@!ing brilliant. To Spike Lee, go $#@! yourself Mr. "I Am The Authority On Black People And Their History"...The scenes with Big Daddy were just hilarious and Mr. Dicaprio was just mesmerizing as Calvin Candle, not to mention Samuel L and Christoph Waltz.

    HEAT (1995)

    10/10

    Awesome Movie!
Great acting, amazing scenes the whole movie is just amazingly good. Definitely one of the best movies ever made. I rarely give 10/10 to movies but HEAT really deserves such a rating. I liked every single thing in the movie. Overall I was very impressed by it. I really recommend it to everybody else, awesome movie and definitely worth watching.

The street shoot out scene was indeed awesome. Its rare that movies have such great and amazing scenes. Damn those M16s were sexy and badass. I must say that the ending was also great.

Inglourious Basterds -9/10- The scene in the tavern with Archie Hicox was my favorite.
