LOL! Good point! Compared to his other movies I would say it feels different. Not a bad thing though.

21 & Over

Hands down, the first great comedy film of 2013 and one to keep an eye on come time to decide best comedy of the year.
On the surface, it looks directive and possibly bad - a cross between The Hangover and Project X. It does have similarities but enough differences, fresh jokes, and a cast with amazing chemistry - especially the back and forth between Miles Teller and Skylar Astin. Plus, it has a better message and character development than either of the movies it seems to borrow from. Gather your bros ando see this, seriusly.
A high 4 out of 5
(Saw an advance screening last night. I’d be doing a full-length review for 411mania.com, but one of my fellow writers claimed it.)

Silver Linings Playbook: 10/10
Holy shit, I regret not seeing this movie in theaters, I really fucking do. This is amazing. This is fucking beautiful. I want to marry this movie. Omg, I sound like a pretentious film school hipster, but goddamn, this is one of those movies that YOU HAVE TO SEE.
Where do I even start? Bradley Cooper is a damn fine actor, an amazing actor and I've been waiting for the day he would get a serious role and he owned it!!!! And the on-screen dialogue with him and DeNiro was so fucking magical. It felt like I was watching Heat with DeNiro and Pacino. Even the cinematography, combined with the score and editing pace and style all complement the acting and the story.
And is it ever so amazingly written. The character has an issue he needs to overcome, why now, what are the consequences and who is in the way and how to overcome it with a resolution at the end. This is the shit I get taught in film school and I'm seeing it right before my goddamn eyes in a movie, but more than any ever before. I love this movie.
Instant blu-ray purchase. Holy shit.

Cliffhanger 7/10
another great Stallone film in my opinion, I never liked it that much when I was younger because I couldn't really appreciate it, but now I can see why it was popular. I would of scored it higher but they did such a good job of making the bad guys into assholes that it makes me angry
