Really funny movie but is also more than just a funny party movie. The characters are likable and develop throughout the movie.

The Master -7.5/10- I thought Phoenix did a good job in his performance.

    Total Recall 2012 - 7/10

So many movies love a chase scene. This isnt one big chase scene (much
Like the god awful borne cashinary), but its bloody close.

The inability for action movies to build suspense these days is a worrying trend, f this is "I'm safe, meeting to advance the plot, oh bugger they found me, run away again movie".

Like so many movies this is a chase->escape->tiny bit of plot reveal->chase->escape rinse and repeat.

The entire plot BTW is "who am i"

    Yawnariffic
Games are like woman, what you might find attractive I might not, and none of us know if we really like them untill we have played around with them for a while.

    Boys Don't Cry 7/10

Holy shit, this movie is one ticking time bomb. Seriously. Hillary Swank is a fucking awesome actress in this. She really played her part well. She owned it. But I really really really hated the ending. It's nice they didn't go for the normal happy ending, but at the same time, they could have done more than just show text on screen. Show, don't tell. That's something I read in a Mamet memo about writing for film. I wish they showed those guys getting arrested. It would leave the audience with some satisfaction, because you've just stripped them of all hope. But there were some really insane tension moments where you cringed. Well done on that front.

I bet feminists watch this movie at their tea party meetings and then hate on men more.

    Moonraker - 6.5/10

This is definately not the finest moment in the series, as some suggest and now I see why. It's basically the Batman & Robin of Bond movies. The puns are the best though. And Jaws finally saying something at the end was kinda beautiful, even though his facial expressions throughout the film are laugh out loud hilarious. This movie is quite a mess. It's just all over the place. But some of the action sequences were pretty cool for its time. But this movie does cash in on sci-fi flicks of that era. There's a shot in the movie where Bond listens to a keycode and has to enter it, and it's literally the same teaser song from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Then it borrows from Star Wars with the lasers, and finally a lot from 2001 with the space sequence. But it's just that it rips it off so plainly that bugs me. Regardless, the endless puns are enjoyable, especially the one Q says at the end when Bond is caught on live stream making love to a Bond girl. M is like, my god what is Bond doing?! And Q just owns the scene by firing back, "I think he's attempting re-entry, sir.". What a guy. I'll miss him. You guys should check this movie out if you like comedy and if Batman & Robin is a guilty pleasure.

    The Italian Job - 7.5/10

I haven't seen the original, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one quite a bit. There's not much room for character development because it's one hiest after another and planning, but each character has their own personality, which is always nice. The action sequences are pretty entertaining and my favourite characters are of course the supporting ones, Handsome Rob, Left Ear and Napster.

    12:08 East to Bucharest - 7/10

This is solely a personal review. I don't expect any of you to see this since this is a movie made in my country, of Romania. I thought it was a real doc at first, but then it was clearly a movie because of the characters and whatever it says on IMDB. The story is about a TV journalist who has his own, low-budget show. He's sort of a Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck character, but with a tv show instead, and the controversial subject he does on his show in this plot is whether or not the revolution happened in his city. He calls on two other guests, each with their own problems and things escalate quickly.

It's pretty slow because most of the movie takes place in one room, shot from wide shots to close ups and done purposely bad for comedic effect. It's a comedy too because of some of the callers, but anyone who's ever lived in Europe, and most importantly, a Romanian citizen would appreciate this movie as much as I do. They take something serious and put a funny spin on it, but all in good taste.

    Walk the Line - 9/10

This has to be one of my favourite Jaqoun Phoenix movies, alongside Buffalo Soldiers and The Master. Walk the Line is the live action biopic of the late, great Johnny Cash. And I wouldn't classify this as a musical, but as a biopic drama. It's a damn fine film. Jaqoun can act so perfectly. He is the Marlon Brando of our time. A legend among us mortals. I highly recommend this film if you like music.
