Not sure which ones you've seen, but here's a few other good Korean films I've seen. Not necessarily with fighting like Man From Nowhere (which is excellent).

    The Chaser
    Memories of Murder
Tae Guk Gi (Brotherhood of War)
    War of the Arrows
    JSA (Joint Security Area)
    Castaway on the Moon
    Silmido
    The Yellow Sea

I've seen quite a few others, but these are the ones I can think of right now that I know I liked.

I'm a big fan of korean movies and shows but with some they like having sad $#@!ed up endings like indie films. I saw one where a guy went to the afterlife to find his fiancee who died. Dude was a true hero but when he died in his fiancee arms in the afterlife he wasn't gonna be able to be reincarnated again or stay in the afterlife.. so he no longer existed. His fiancee because she helped him had to spend a million years in torment.

    Days of Thunder: 6.5/10

You know, despite this looking like a spin-off sequel to Top Gun that takes place on the race track, with almost a similar plot and characters, it's a fun and entertaining take on NASCAR racing. The writing isn't great, but the acting is. And despite the goal of the character, he never really gets to it, or there's no type of closure. You just see him win and that's that.

But the cinematography and action is certainly great. Tony Scott knew how to capture audiences and it's also thanks to his producers, Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson, that helped him create a movie for general audience to see, albeit not the greatest work, but it's not $#@!ty either.

It's worth a watch for sure.

    Ghost World: 8/10

I was watching the trailer for this before seeing the movie and one of the top comments said that they were hipsters before hipsters. I laughed and just had to see this. But also, because Scarlett Johansson was in it. And she's just gorgeous to look at, and can act well. But Thora Birch is quite the cutie in this, despite her $#@!ty narcistic personality in the film, which she portrays very well.

Here's this coming of age story about a girl who finds everything meaningless in life and wants to dissapear to be at peace. Steve Buscemi is another character that he just nails down. He's just an amazing actor.

Otherwise, wonderful, witty writing and excellent delivery, although it does kinda drag at times and gets annoying, but stays true to form. Ghost World is a movie I'd expected people to pass off, but it is a cult classic. This is like Nirvana, in a film format for the post-Y2K millennials growing up. It's no wonder it has cult classic written all over it.

Definately worth watching. And it's based off a comic book.

Yeah I'm a fan of Korean films as well. They just get so creative with them unlike most Hollywood $#@! these days. But I do agree they have some messed up endings out there. Oldboy was one of the most wtf I've seen!

    United 93: 10/10

WOW. Unreal film. Paul Greengrass has perfected realism. I was so invested in this film, the fly on the wall directing, cinematography and editing, as well as the flawless acting performances made this film in an experience, even on a small HDTV, with surround sound.

I had previously seen only part of this film while I was in high school, but I never got to watch all of it, so I decided to finally go for it. I love the tense moments of this film, there is so much suspense and thrill, and it really puts you on the plane as one of the passengers. You feel fear for these people, more or less. I actually prefer this over the Bourne trilogy now.

Highly recommended. Time to put this on my blu-ray wish list!

    Punch Drunk Love: 9.5/10

As with the previous film, I've seen only part of this film a few years back. It has to be Adam Sandler's best performance ever. But that's what happens when you put an extremely prestigious and talented director like Paul Thomas Anderson on board. Even the writing is pure excellence. You can tell the script was simple, yet so effective.

We are given an underdog character with some sort of mental problem(s), which is brought on by his seven sisters throughout his lifetime. He must escape this, and his escape is this girl he met by chance. This girl is the world for him and you can see that in his transformation near the end where he just can't take eating $#@! anymore from anyone, and he just owns the movie like a total badass.

You can rag on Sandler for a lot of $#@!ty movies he's done, but this one and Funny People are his best. I think if he's given more serious roles, he can really have potential to play them well. But he just keeps doing $#@!ty comedy movies that uses the same formula he used in the 90's. It was funny back then for the first few times, now it's just stupid. No one is laughing, except for the easily amused and gullible audience.

But anyway, back to the film, it's edited quite well, and the sound mix is a little loud at times where you can't really hear what the characters on-screen are saying, but sometimes the sound design works really well with the editing, they complement each other by creating very tense moments. It's kind of like a POV of his mind, which is on the brink of exploding.

Excellent film, highly recommended, because Adam Sandler can act drama roles. Also, adding this to my blu-ray wish list!

    The Patriot - 8/10

An underrated film. Some say it's too melodramatic, but that's not how I feel, since I feel the emotional scenes work well (AKA I came close to crying a few times).

    The Devils Advocate

Greed, Lust, Pride, Sanity, and Vanity all play a pivotal role in this movie and at its core, makes the viewer think deeply about them with regards to them self. A powerfully crafted film overall, with great acting from Al Pacino as usual and some really memorable dialogue. My only negative remark would go to the last quarter of the film were it seemed to get a little convoluted, yet it still delivers a sublime ending.
If your a guy like me and loves Pacino, l would highly recommend it as he delivers a brilliant performance and the script is bullet proof.

    Dazed and Confused: 7.5/10

I've been putting this off for so many years because I don't particularly like the 70's, but I gave it a go, and it's so awesome. There's a really fresh and faithful take on that era in this film, which takes place on the last day of high school for some, while only the first year of high school for others.

It's a time period piece, a fly-on-the-wall story about what you're doing with your life after high school. It seems getting high, drinking beers, harassing the freshmen and partying seems to be the norm for these boys. Also, we have Ben Affleck in this and Matthew McConahaaaaay, who doesn't take his shirt off and looks like a legit, 70's pornstar, that also registers for a sex offender because of his creepy mustache. He even makes a remark about high school girls. "I love these girls. I get keep getting old, and they keep staying young.". Creepy alert. But, in those times, it was ok to say $#@! like that and not automatically be branded a pedo.

Anyway, great little film, I can see why it's a cult classic, I'm sure a lot of people who had their child hoods in the 70's can vouch for the accuracy in this movie. Oh and I can't stand that pot-smoking loser with his stupid beret. I knew someone like that while I was in high school, and I couldn't stand him either. Those are losers who never do anything but get high 24/7. They'll be a chain manager at McDonalds at best.

Indie Game: The Movie - 9/10

A friend recommended this and it's a really great doc on these four developers and the release of their games and the struggle they go through to make it. Among the game devs in this, we see Super Meat Boy, Fez and Braid, which were all Xbox Arcade titles.

It's an interesting look at the development, but what's really nice is that it shows the human side of these guys. They all have problems, some heartbreaking, some social. They are the hipsters of videogames. I highly recommend this for a viewing.

    Bronson: 8.5/10

$#@!, I need subtitles to watch because he's an English actor. But this is, I think, Tom Hardy's best performance EVER! And it's directed my Nicolas Winding Refn, who also directed Drive and is coming out with Only God Forgives. So it's safe to say the film was very artsy in that sense. But we have a true character study here, Charles Bronson, or that's how he named his alter ego in prison for over 30 years. I love the slider shots and again, quite artsy for a film about a misunderstood psychopath. Definitely worth a watch. I know see why Chris Nolan chose him to play Bane. Oh and he could also do The Joker quite well.

Good but with disappointments tagged on. Cant say more than that without spoilers. Its a better movie overall than Iron Man 2 but Iron Man 2 didnt have the disappointments. I think i will just give it the same score i gave Iron Man 2. 6/10

Im rather surprised this movie is going to make a billion worldwide soon.

Star Trek: Into Darkness - 10/10

I have never considered myself a Star Trek fan, and when the reboot came out, I gave it a chance, I watched it and I liked it a lot enough to buy it on blu-ray. After seeing Into Darkness, I can finally consider myself a "Trekker". If this film doesn't get an Academy Award for best acting to Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine or Benedict Cumberbatch, then I will stop watching the Oscars indefinitely and just look up the winners in plain text on IMDB or ask friends.

I felt like crying at a couple of scenes, but I maintained my emotions, just like Spock, and rather cried on the inside to beautiful scenes throughout the film, unforgettable moments of acting and pure beauty. I cannot stress how amazing this movie is. You have to see it, whether you like Star Trek or not.

And action was a thrill, a fun ride that you can't wait to get on at the amusement park. JJ Abrams has ressurected a series that was thought to be dead and made it into something universal for everyone on the his planet to witness. I cannot express my overwhelming joy that I experienced while watching this movie. I felt all the main emotions you should feel in a movie. Love, happiness, sorrow and anger. And on top of that, I had fun.

For the technical side of things, the IMAX sequences were stunning in the IMAX theatre, and the sound design is a thrill, done by the legendary Ben Burt, who made the sound effect for the lightsaber for Star Wars. JJ Abrams' direction is brilliant, and yes there are lens flares, but it's just part of his style, like slo-mo is part of Zack Synders. The cinematography is gorgeous and the special effects complement it so much. And dare I say that JJ Abrams is the next Steven Spielberg! There, I said it.

I have to see this film again. Watch out for Spock.

Oh and if you're still worried about Star Wars Episode VIII, fear not, it is in PERFECT hands. If Into Darkness is anything to go by, then Star Wars fans (including myself) are in for one helluva trilogy!!!

What good is there to say about a terrible film. Granted the main reason l watched it was because l was in the mood for a bit of non stop action and l'm actually one of those people who like Jason Statham movies, but l still had some expectations. The action scenes were mediocre (nothing like the glory days of Arnie, Van dam, or willis) and the character development is poor. Wouldn't recommend it.

@DreDayDetox and @ps3freak18 if you guys like Tom Hardy, you should check him out in Martina Coles The Take. it was a miniseries he did a few years back and he is amazing in it. I would also say Bronson is his best performace yet, but the Take is up there too.

Django Unchanged 10/10- Wow! I was not expecting the movie to be that damn good. Don't get me wrong I love Tarantino films but this could be his best ever next to Pulp Fiction to me. This movie just had everything. Comedy, action, gore, amazing acting, and the list goes on. Christopher Waltz is just one of the best actors I've ever seen. He really needs to start getting more roles. Tarantino is great at picking the best actors for his roles. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen in a few years!
