I actually like those. X3 was something awful. There was so much wrong about it I don't even know where to begin... and they utterly ruined Phoenix. Juggernaut was a joke... and they really screwed up the fact that he isn't a mutant... he acquired his powers through magical means... and the fact that he's Professor X's stepbrother wasn't mentioned. Eh... they all have something a bit off... or way off.

Hugh Jackman is actually a pretty good Wolverine, despite the fact that he's barely over 5 feet tall in the comics.

The difference is that I actually cared about what was going on in Superman Returns, since it had proper development and build-up.

I saw The War Z last night. I had no intention of ever seeing it but I got invited by a friend and went.

It was surprisingly really good 8/10. If you like zombie movies I recommend it

I've started a Hannibal-fest since finishing the show's first season. I had to watch them all again, and I haven't seen the sequel to Silence of the Lambs in a long time. I watched both movies in the same day. And I can understand the lower score for it on IMDB. Julianne Moore as Clarice (why did Jodie Foster not continue her role in this?) was pretty convincing of her predecessor, Jodie Foster. She's a lot more confident and a bit arrogant too, but not as naive. It seems her character evolved.

I guess the real problem here was the writing. I think this movie focused too much on Hannibal being hunted by a former patient than Clarice actually tracking him down. It seems like she was kinda useless. And also the ending. I love how classy it was, but I'm not sure whether to hate it or love it. But I certainly love the kid trying fried brain and loving it. That was so $#@!ed up because it seems somewhat out-of-character for Hannibal. I guess the real reason I don't like the ending is because it leaves off with a cliffhanger, implying that there is a sequel or a series of sequels in mind. They still haven't happened. So was it really necessary to let Hannibal escape? I mean it proposes a very good relationship with him and Clarice, but I don't know.

Aside from that, it's directed by Ridley Scott, so the cinematography looks like a Ridley Scott movie and it's awesome.
I think Hannibal is a very entertaining movie. It's not as good as Red Dragon and certainly not as good as The Silence of the Lambs, but it's an enjoyable splatterfest for sure. And the new show with Dancy and Mikkelsen is sooooo much better than I thought it'd be; brilliant stuff.

It was better than I thought it'd be... plus the villain is the queen from Game of Thrones, so that's awesome as well.

-Lois could have been cast better.
-Only 2 "dumb moments" in the movie imo
    -Everything else was great

Oh and a big $#@! you to the critics who made this movie have a lower score than Superman Returns on Rotten Tomatoes.

I think the casting was fine, her part was just very minuscule and her script was lacking. But she was the same get-into-ridiculous-situations Lois as she's always been.

Fortunately it's a box office smash which allowed for the sequel to be a possibility. I don't know how anyone can like a Superman movie without any fighting in it. Superman Returns isn't even a blip on the radar. The Christopher Reeve movies were great (the first two mostly), but this is the Superman movie I've been waiting for since I was a kid. Don't care what anyone thinks. I'm happy with it, save for a few story quirks, but I can manage.

Frankie Go Boom 7/10- This was actually surprisingly funny. Although I wish Chris O'Dowd would have used his naive accent. His American accent just sounds weird after hearing him speak his Irish accent, I assume what it is. With a name like O'DowdI can only assume be is Irish.

    Cloud Atlas: 9/10

This is one of the most incredible and ambitious films I have ever seen. I will probably bump it to a 9.5 upon further viewings. It is something that cannot be explained, only felt. I am simply amazed that a person was able to write a novel like this, let alone make it into a movie. It leaves you wanted know while knowing that you really are content. A movie like this comes around only once a decade and am I most looking forward to the next one.

I don't think it's a very good movie but it's definitely better than Superman Returns, I agree.

    World War Z - 6/10

A decent, enjoyable movie. Nothing special really.

Also, the zombies were kind of humorous, which had most of the theater laughing throughout. Kind of broke the tension.

Atlas Shrugged Part 2 7/10- A solid movie. It's a bit odd considering the castis completely different from the first movie but it was still pretty good nonetheless.

The Great and Powerful Oz - 8/10

Great story line, somewhat poor animations and movie effects with the munchkins flipping down the stairs and the witches flying, but other than that everything played out to where it would like up perfectly with The Wizard of Oz!

Same thing isn't it? When I went to cinema years ago to see a movie (cannot remeber which) and my friend had to pretend we were 13 to get the childs rate we were 14 at the time. My friend $#@!ed it up by takin off a year of his DOB making him 15.
