Agreed. However, be sure to watch it in 3D as it will greatly lower the level of immersion otherwise. Personally, I watched it in IMAX 3D (at the world's third largest screen) - now THAT is something else entirely.

Quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. I can sum up the non-existent plot in about 3 sentences. Very little dialogue and with what little dialogue there was ... it was embarrassing most of the time. The only mildly amusing part of the movie was James Franco attempting to be a gangsta. Also there were a few boobies, but not anywhere near enough to make it entertaining. The girls were cute, but mostly they were incredibly obnoxious and I really didn't care what happened to them except maybe Selena Gomez who seemed to be the only one with some sort of redeeming qualities. The movie has no substance and makes zero sense and the movie just ends without making much sense either. It was just horribly put together. The movie itself isn't all that horrible, but it just feels like 2 hours of almost nothing happening. I'm surprised I stayed awake watching this.
That's an art film for ya. It's one of my favorite films this year.
Thanks to Kwesnoth for the sig!

There are moments in this film that will make you clench your asshole and hold your breath. This has some of the best cinematography I've ever seen and it's Alfonso Cauron, the director of Children of Men, so you already know there's gonna be some $#@!ing amazing camera skills. The long cuts are the best. The way he moves the camera makes the CGI seem realer than ever. This film will put you inside an astronaut's suit, while in space. You will experience space like never before. You will also see how beautiful Earth is. And you will experience the dangers of space as well. And the sound design is $#@!ing awesome. I'm no astronaut, and I've never been to space, but this film makes you believe what you see and hear in space. It plays on your senses.

Please, all of you in this thread since page 1, do yourselves a favour and watch this wonderful film. I hope it wins best acting, best editing, best sound design and best cinematography at the Oscars. Hell, BEST $#@!ING PICTURE TOO!!

Iron Man 3 7/10- I really like the first two but this one was just too over the top. The whole brain manipulation then all the sudden they are super soldiers that can melt steel with their hands?! Come on! Not to mention there isn't too much Iron Man in well Iron Man. It's mostly Tony Stark out of the suit. Kind of glad they capped it off. It just looks like they didn't know what the hell they wanted to do with this one. Very disappointing considering how many great things i heard about the movie before watching it.

    Trance - 4/5.

Beautifully shot, incredible colours, cinematography was extremely well realised; the film was quite good, a little jarring, but it's worth the watch. Soundtrack was ace, too.

I'm fairly certain that this is the only film I've ever in my life described as "majestic". The presentation of space is perfect. I kept waiting for the story to do something that would let me down, and it never did. Seeing this film in 3-D is a MUST!

    Mud - 4.5/5.

Jeff Nichols really is a director to look out for, Matthew McConaughey truly is tearing that rom-com typecast he's adhered to for some years, and this performance is no different. Great film!

Jagten (The Hunt) - 4.5/5. Fantastic film, thoroughly recommended; acting's superb, excellently shot, moving, frustrating and a brilliant comment on an issue that's reared its head in more recent social times. A modern day Crucible.

    Glengarry Glen Ross - 4.2/5.
Always respect a film that can hold my attention through its dialogue when there's nothing else really prominent through out. Super cast, too.

    State of Grace - 4/5.
My kinda' premise, Gary Oldman's the bee knees and it's definitely worth the watch.

Hana-bi - 4/5. Fascinating film; removed, yet poignant. There's a depth to it, an emotional sentiment certainly - with dashes of melancholy and ambivalence.

What a classic. First time Pacino and De Niro shared a scene together in a film.

I'm willing to overlook all the strange plot holes, and there are lots, and acknowledge that it was an entertaining movie.

@Shockwave, it is the most epic scene ever in a film

The power of them two actors in their own films a lone is beyond any actor

But together in just a simple scene... Reads like a whole movie unto it self
