It's usually hard to top the 1st movie in a series but this one did it. Movie was great.

    Dallas Buyers Club: 7.5/10

Wonderful acting by Matthew McConahaaaaay and Jared Leto playing a sissy crossdresser. Both are method actors, Matt more so. Jared Leto's a poser.

Otherwise decent script, but definitely not best picture worthy. I feel like it got that because it's a sensitive subject and probably because the LGBT community was it expecting it to be. And god forbid you cross the LGBT, you must be a $#@!phobe!

True, but one is more absurd and gory. But I mean that in a good way.

Really loved it! I like Cage, I like Travolta, they both do a good job in my eyes. I've never seen nor heard of this movie, so I was really interested when I found out about this movie.. It's really good! Love it!

As powerful as it gets. Beautifully shot! Fantastic edit and incredible performances. I loved Gravity but this movie is a powerhouse. I could go either way on the Best Picture.

    Frozen. 4/5
Not sure if I'm biased given the fact that I have little sisters so the movie struck a cord with me, or if I'm being overly harsh as I was expecting just a little bit more out of it. Either way, it's a very nice movie.

The Way I Spent My Days During the End of the World (Cum mi-am petecrut srafsitul lumii): 7/10

This is another Romanian film that takes place during the end of the Ceausescu's reign in Communist Romania 1989. It's a nice little tale of a poor family who long for things to be better. They make plans to leave the country, opting not to get caught by the Securitate (secret service) and be executed.

It's hard even for me to understand the plot without english subtitles, but I do understand my own language in the film. It's got some wonderful cinematography and nice sound design, but it needs to be watched with subtitles to understand what is going on and it's not exactly what I expected it to be. I thought it would take place in the city of Timisoara, where I was born and where the Revolution to overthrow the president happened. He was executed by order of firing squad on December 25th, 1989. What a nice present Santa has given to Romania.

This is a nice film to watch for those interested in foreign cinema.

    The Virgin Suicides: 6.5/10

I might have to see it again, but I couldn't understand the plot. It was an interesting concept, and the score by Air was amazing, not to mention that it has one of the most influential movie songs of all time in it. This is Soffia Coppola's second best, but her best is still Lost in Translation. I did the suburban feel and narration to it.

    Filth: 7/10

This one, I have to see again because it's in Scottish and the accent is quite heavy, but it's my favourite James MvAvoy role so far. There's a great sense of redemption in his character. The ending is great too and the comedy is awesome. Sometimes, it tries to be a rom com, but I think it secretly makes fun of the genre. Carole Robertson is such a fox in this and Imogen Poots is so beautiful.

    Election: 7/10

I feel like this is the spin-off sequel to Ferris Bueller's Day Off meets any Hugh Brothers movie about teen angst. It's got a nice bag of comedy in it and some good, but not great writing. Some of the best moments are the ironic ones and the third act could work a little better, but the way it ended was perfect. Worth a watch.

    The Emperor's Club : 6.5/10

If you're a fan of Kevin Kline and Emile Hirsch when he was staring out, this movie is for you. Also, if you are a teacher this movie is for you. It's an alright movie. Basically rich people having rich people problems. But at least one of them has good principles. Kevin Kline is wonderful in it.

    End of Days: 6/10

Poor writing, although the writer has improved and has been writing for each episode of CASTLE now. Obvious continuity errors that make you question if the director was clueless or actually gave a $#@! at all about the production. But so far, it's an action movie more than a horror one because of Arnie. And despite all the low reviews, this actually could have been really well done if the writing was more focused. There weren't any one-liners from Arnie, other the Choir Boy reference, which was $#@!ing awesome, and his character was pretty fleshed out, not typical mindless killing (even though he kinda kinda does it again in this) action hero. He lost his family to criminals who shot them while he was at work. He works for a security and has been since and is contemplating killing himself until he finds himself in an outwordly situation where he must protect a girl from being $#@!ed in the $#@! by Satan so he can reign hell on earth. Sure, it sounds silly on paper, but it could have been an awesome movie. And Gabriel Byrne plays a really amazing Satan.

Poor story with poorly shot and edited action sequences, they are so fast and jerky you cant see what is going on most of the time.
As for the story, we are led to believe the main good guy played by Statham
