All the actors are capable of much better performances yet they were dull and boring. It took me 2 nights to watch due to how bored I was with it after the first 45 minutes.
Not using CGI special effects is one thing but you could clearly see the Mustang practically snap in 2.

    9/10 - The Road (It's on Netflix)

Gray and depressing. That's what this movie is. It's so gritty and disgusting and real that some scenes came close to shocking me, which is extremely difficult to do. The actors genuinely appear malnourished and starving. The Earth is dead and the last vestiges of mankind are cruel. There is no hope. Any good that remains is the love of a father and the hope of a child. Despite all odds the father believes he can save his son in a world that cannot be saved, and he will do whatever it takes.

I saw it a few weeks ago. I would have originally rated it a little lower at the time (7/10) but the movie has really left an impression on me. After giving it a lot of thought I've come to appreciate its boldness and honesty. There's a certain inevitability hanging in the air. It's gripping and incredibly sad on a level that I can't quite describe. It's also very well acted and realized. The whole movie is oppressive in its tone but intelligently meaningful.

This movie is powerful and it will ruin your day.

Very good movie indeed. Although wouldn't suggest watching it if you are in a $#@! mood.

Grand Budapest Hotel 9/10- First of, this is not a type of movie I would typically enjoy. It's odd but it's great. It has a loaded cast with the likes of Jude Law, Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, and many cameos by major actors. It has a great soundtrack as well. Like I said before it's an odd movie but it has everything you could want in a movie. Great story, well placed comedy and phenomenal acting. I don't expect everyone to like it but it got me. Very thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm not sure what happened. I think it was a movie? Not sure? WTF? The movie was interesting. The ending could've been better.

Actually, it's not a movie, but a documentary... I liked it though, it was really interesting. Next on the list; Transcendence...

Stalingrad 9/10- I loved this movie. The slow motion was out of place at times but I didn't care to much. Very good story with some cool combat. A lot of people $#@!ed about it not being about the entire battle at Stalingrad. Which honestly you would think the movie is about. But it's about a group in Stalingrad trying to hold a key position. Kind of like saving private Ryan it focuses on the people more than the setting. Definitely suggest it. It is in Russian.

ABCs of Death. A solid 4/10 but still worth watching. 26 different directors get free reign to make a short 4-6 minute film about death which relates to their letter. Some are good. Some are just wrong.
