This is very interesting. So DMC 4 could be true.
In its latest Investor Relations report, Capcom has revealed it plans to publish a total of 77 new titles across all platforms.
The report reveals that throughout 2007, Capcom expects to publish 6 new titles on the Xbox 360 and it expects them to sell 2,250,000 copies.
As soon as we learned about this number, we asked ourselves which games those six titles could be. We only counted three: Lost Planet, Resident Evil 5 and a Dead Rising sequel. What could the other three titles be?
It has been rumored that Devil May Cry 4 will only remain as a time exclusive for the PlayStation 3, landing soon after on the Xbox 360. That will give us four titles but then, what could the remaining two games be? Xbox Live Arcade games perhaps.
Marvel vs. Capcom or Capcom vs. SNK? 194X? Mega Man? Ghouls 'n Ghosts?

Capcom Plans to Release Six Xbox 360 Games in 2007
-
12-26-2006 #2
Hmmm, a Dead Rising sequel less than a year after the first one released, don't think so.
Also I doubt that Devil May Cry 4 will be ported to the 360, I will believe this when Capcom mention the games names.

Although I don't think DMC 4 will come to 360 that does not mean it still can't happen. Really why make the game only for one console? I think that would be a bad move on Capcom's part seeing as how they could make TONS more money and branch out the fanbase with people who may have NEVER played the orginal 3. Anyway Marvel vs Capcom for LIVE arcade would be so AWESOME. I LOVE that game and online vs matches would be so much fun.
Here's hoping.

Good find, Post Up.
Hm, I hope DMC4 makes it's way onto the 360, that'd be great... but yeah, probably not for me. Mainly because I see no online to it. I hope we get a dead rising sequel, some announcement for a Lost Planet sequel... Capcom should of taken Developer Of The Year: 2006... maybe 07 will be their year, officially.
Here's hoping x 2.

Let this DMC4 coming to the 360 thing go.Diablo 3 - DOTA 2 - Deus EX 3 - Half Life: Episode 3

Yeah, Resident Evil 5 is due to a 2008 release, and I doubt that Capcom will make an GRAW/COD out of Dead Rising.
But honestly, with both RE and DR out of the question from 2007, I could see DMC being a possibility, but as I said, I wont believe anything before Capcom says something about it themself.

There will not be another Marvel Vs. Capcom anytime soon unless activision. wants to let capcom "barrow" the Marvel license.

LOL Capcom Published games could mean anything, i mean they published the likes of Killer 7, Okami, God Hand etc, it doesn't specifically say Capcom Developed games.
Infact they say new so it could be more original titles of the Dead Rising and Lost Planet kind.
Sorry for bolding the keywords but if you don't pay attention to them people might jump to conclusions.
Big Boss Emblem FTW!

They developed the Breath of fire Series, which originated from Square.
Although i think the BoF series has been shelved entirely especially after the abomination that was Breath of Fire V Dragon Quarter.Big Boss Emblem FTW!

Here's a full break-up of the number of games they're publishing on each handheld and console during 2007 as well as previous years, and the total number of sales expected:

So in order of number of games that's:
33 for PS2
21 for PSP
10 for DS
6 for Xbox 360
3 for PS3
2 for GBA
1 for Xbox
1 for PC/other
Lots of support for PS2 obviously, surprising amount of support for PSP over DS though, and 3 titles for PS3 too. Nothing much in the way of Wii support, possibly just 1 game!
Maybe add this to the first post if you could be so kind?
Table is from here:

I thought 77 was a bit much then I saw "published". So anyone could be developing the game but Capcom will back it finacially. Still, it's interesting to see what the games will be. I think Resident Evil is a given as well as Lost Planet and a Street Fighter game is most likely. No telling what the rest could be. I'm thinking of some Live arcade games to finish off the list.
Down below, there's a secret that must be shared with the world......

That sorta doesnt surprise me, I would imagine after how well Lost Planet will do and how popular Dead Rising was, that this isnt too shocking. Still, 77 games, whew thats alot!

12-26-2006 #24I think capcom has lost the Marvel rights, and i don't really see any new Capcom vs SNK fighting games coming out in the near future.Marvel vs. Capcom or Capcom vs. SNK? 194X? Mega Man? Ghouls 'n Ghosts?
Megaman is selling pretty good on the DS for the EXE series, and i think if they would consider a new one, it would be a Wii game.
A new GnG/Maximo(that is basically the 3D GnG sequel, and is a terribly underrated series)?I think there might be good a chance for a third one and why not release it on the 360?
I don't really think Capcom will revive a brand as prehistoric as 194X.
Of course...they could include xbox live arcade games in their games.to-be-published list.So they could as well include Final Fight or some other arcade game in there. :/
