Whenever I try to play online on COD3 I always get the message, "Could Not Connect to All the Players." This problem seems to large on the PlayStation forums, yet no one has a solution to it except to start your own game and let people join. I would really like to be able to join games though. Has anyone else here had this problem, and most importantly, does anyone have a fix for this problem?

You should check the connectivity to the game you are trying to join. Its in the bottom right corner and usually has 1 to 5 starts. More stars better connectivity.

Whenever this happens to me I just try and rejoin the same room again and it almost always connects. The connection quality does not seem to matter, I have had this happen when I had a 5 star connection.

I have this same problem, it seems to help when I join a game that has very few players.... I would like to have this problem resolved though

Port forward the IP of your PS3, or create a static IP for the PS3 by manually setting the IP in the internet connection wizard (setting everything else to auto, or by finding the information via PC by Start>Run>cmd>ipconfig /all).

What ports do I need to forward? I am also having the same problem with joining rooms in Ridge Racer.

Well, it seems like you have the same problem as the 360's. But they released a patch. And sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

I'm am very confused because I can play online no problem with Resistance, but I can't with Ridge Racer or Call of Duty 3. I have tried several router settings. I still can't get it figured out.

www.portforward.com helps. they may or may not have a ps3 thread up by now, but either way it gives you a really good idea of how to configure the router. the hardest part i think would be finding out what ports the ps3 uses, but maybe that's in the system settings? i haven't a clue.
