Anyone getting this and know how to stop it?
Happens on two systems in 2 diff locations. One just has a stereo hooked up, hdmi to TV to receiver using rca jacks. Happens only when the sound is hitting the upper ceiling of the volume range on the track.
Other system is I think 6.1 surround, optical from ps3 to receiver. Same circumstance for the crackling. It's worse on some movies than on others.
k no one has had this happen? For example, in superman for bluray, when lex luthor shouts WROOOOONG! you can hear it the best. Doesn't matter what the volume on your tv or stereo is. Is this a problem on the disc, on the ps3 possibly, or on the audio system?

Thread: sound crackling on blurays
I am not an expert by any means and I can only offer my personal experience...
The only time I get feed back is when my cables are not properly connected...
(1.) If the gold platted HDMI cables are not plugged in all the way
----(a.) If you do not have gold platted HDMI cords, I would suggest doing so...
(2.) If the connection male (cord) --> female (TV) is dirty/dust/unclean
But that's where I would check 1st...
Not feedback. Crackling. It's like sound that goes above the supported volume range of the track or something. I don't know how else to put it.
