Do you mean first person? Timespliters and 007 are the 2 that I can think of right off the bat. Killzone is coming out soon and is expected to be a great game.

Hmm I always thought those were considered action/adventure.

10-16-2004 #5yeah but third person means seeing a person, whereas first person is looking through the eyes of a person.

Well I knew they were 3rd person, just wasnt aware that they use that term for them. The reason I say action/adventure is because most "3rd person shooters" involve alot more than just run and gun type action. The characters usually have manny atributes that you just dont see in a first person. Anyhoo, your problly correct though.

Stringer: PS3 will win
Sony has admitted it is taking a risk with the PlayStation 3's high price.
Howard Stringer, Sony CEO, conceded that the PS3's price is a "higher-risk strategy", claiming the next generation console is a new invention that warrants such a pricing scheme.
"When you bring into new technology, do you go for a cheaper transitional [product], or do you take a chance on future-proof, higher technology which will keep you going for many, many years?"
Whilst the Xbox 360 retails for $299 and $399 for its 'Core' and 'Premium' packages respectively, the PlayStation 3 will cost $499 and $599 when it launches on November 17th. The high price of the PS3 has been attributed to the inclusion of the Blu-ray player, a next generation format developed by Sony, as well as the revolutionary Cell CPU. Furthermore, both packages include a hard drive. See a full comparison here.
Stringer believes the movie studios will decide which format, Blu-ray or its competitor HD-DVD, will come out on top. He claimed movie studios are realising the benefit of Blu-ray's higher capacity.

I personally only found Tomb Raider 1 and 2 the true ones, the rest suckd ballz.
I wish I wasn't such a graphics whore, I still got all the Tomb Raider games, but once in a while when I plug them in my PS2, I just give up because I simply can't ignore the horrific graphics.

During E3 I check out the booth babes, and if that's wrong...then maybe I'm missing the point of E3

Socom II. Need I say more? Socom III ruined it for me though. They changed the style far too much. And the vehicles in Socom III were really unimpressive compared to how the vehicles operated in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.
SocomII online play is still my favorite online experience. Though I haven't played that game for a long time.
I'm hoping the PS3's next Socom game brings it back to a SocomII style, but improve graphics. And especially A.I. Hostages and V.I.P's were more than stupid in that game, but good for a laugh.
Oh yeah. SocomII also has a lot of glitches, people that use them destroy that game.
