it's a free download, which i downloaded from Japanese store. I barely speak Japanese (I'm okay with katakana, and reading hiragana), but it said HDD which means hard disk.
So, my guess was that I will be able to install PS2 games to HDD. I tried and failed.
I tried HK store, but did not found it. I could not be bothered of creating other account. I have 3 already.
So, what is it for?

It's for PS2 games that require access to a HDD to play, such as FF12. It has nothing to do with installing PS2 games on to the PS3.
