I'm curious what everyones Blu-Ray/HD-DVD movie attach rate it?
For those of you that do not know what attach rate means (And im not trying to sound like a pompus jerk): In the simplest of terms, it means how many Blu-Ray or HD-DVD's have you personally purchased since you bought your hardware.
If you have both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, please share...
NOTE: TALLADEGA NIGHTS DOES NOT COUNT, IT WAS FREE!
NOW, please post like the example (Just copy-paste and post!):
Equipment: PS3
# of Blu-Ray: 3 (Swordfish, Crank (I got it 10 minutes ago), Black Hawk Down)
# of HD-DVD: n/a
Comment: If you want to comment on the above poster or quote and then talk about it, then so be it... Just please try to post in a similar mannar to my example, so its easy for everyone to view and/or discriminate between someones attach rate and another memebers question or comment!
And most of all I hope this sparks some discussion about what people like the most, and what kind of attach rate the Ps3 is seeing. I understand there are links that show, I'm more curious about the forum seeing that many patrons bought the machine as a console first and Blu-Ray player second
There are many Blu-Rays that I am looking at, but alot of my favorites are not out yet. I read an article today that said the average attach rate for HD-DVD (of the 175K units sold) is 24. I dont believe it, so I wanted to see my fellow gamers opinions...
P.S. I don't know what happened to my font, after changing the NOW, it totally got crazy, sorry!

Comment: In the near future I am going to go Blu-Ray crazy. I just love watching my favorite movies in high definition. CES 2007 really showed off some amazing titles that are a must have for me. The Matrix FTW!

Equipment: PS3
# of Blu-Ray: 7 (Kingdom of Heaven, 16 Blocks, Unforgiven, Superman Returns, Flight of the Phoenix, Black Hawk Down, Stargate)
# of HD-DVD: 0
Comment: I would have several more, but our local stores are generally sold out of the ones I am looking for. I will probably buy two or three Blu-ray movies per month in lieu of the DVDs I used to buy.
By the way, great idea for a thread! I was wondering this myself, about both Blu-ray movies and PS3 games.
EDIT: Added Black Hawk Down and Stargate today.

Equipment: PS3, Toshiba HD DVD Player (HDA1, soon to be upgrading to the high-end X-A2 player by Toshiba).
# of Blu-Ray: 10 (Tears of The Sun, Kung Fu Hustle, Corpse Bride, Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, Superman Returns, Lord of War, The Terminator, Underworld Evolutions, House Of the Flying Daggers).
# of HD-DVD: 29 (Sahara, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, Serenity, Land of the Dead, Unforgiven, 12 Monkeys, The Thing, Army of Darkness, Batman Begins, Dune, Hulk, King Kong, Sleepy Hallow, Million Dollar Baby, The Perfect Storm, Goodfellas, Superman The Movie, The Mummy, Mission Impossible Box Set (I, II and III), Red Dragon, Syrianna, V For Vendetta, Terminator 3, The Bourne Supremacy, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, U-571, Sopranos Season Six Pt. 1
Comment: I go about once every 2 weeks to buy new Blu-ray or HD DVDs as new ones come out every so often and here in Canada we usually get some releases a bit later than in the states, right now there is probably 3-4 Blu-ray discs and about 5-6 HD DVDs id buy.

Id say renting is more accurate of how many movies of any format is watched, I think its better to see which ones are actually BOUGHT.

That defeats the notion of attach rate. It only matters if the consumer buys them. It shows that the customer/consumer/adopter has made a commitment to the format, as well as, spent $ to keep/buy the item.
If rented discs would count then I would have to list between 40-50 Blu-Ray movies.

I havent even watched my Talladega yet. I saw it a few days before i got my ps3. Truthfully i didnt get it to watch movies on. i feel that it lessens the life of your console. call me crazy about not wanting to, but i still have my original ps2. i may have watched like 5 movies on it.

At the moment I have yet to buy a Blu-Ray Disc or HD DVD. Until I get a HDTV they're fairly worthless. I was tempted to get Army Of Darkness on HD-DVD/DVD combo, but I have it on DVD already, and I wasn't going to shell out $35 for a movie I already have with no extras.
I have bought three PS3 games though. I expect about another five in the coming months. An optimist thinks that this is the best of all possible worlds.
A pessimist fears this is so.

i think you should include TN, seeing as how, it's possible that not everyone got a PS3 to use as a Blu-ray player, but.. it ends at TN.. i want more, but like a previous poster, i dont have an hdtv, soo.. 19" crt is what i play on, NOT worth it.. yet..

I buy alot of movies, I'm a big movie guy. I'm the type of person that can watch a movie for the 10th time and enjoy it just as much as the first time. That's why I buy instead of rent
