    Crank blu-ray aspect ratio

Picked up Crank last night (my personal favorite movie EVER lol).
On the box it says its formatted in 2.35:1 (black bars on top and bottom mode)
I popped it in and its full screen 1.85:1 or whatever full 16:9 widescreen hdtv mode is(no black bars)

Is it just a misprint on the box? different versions of the movie?

I also bought the movie yesterday (love it)!

My version was also full screen, but I was too excited to read the back of the case/box. Maybe there is a setting you can change, because I do think it is one of the more enhanced Blu-Rays on the market (i.e. extra settings/features)

your tv might pan and scan, does it look odd? If that's not it, it could just be cutting off the sides, and that is also fixable, but.. i would actually need your remote to show you, sooo.. lol.

Weird. The website says the Blu-ray is 16x9 which it sounds like it is. Maybe someone forgot to copy/paste the correct info. More and more errors like this are everywhere. Does anyone take pride in their work anymore?

    $29.99
i have a circuit city card so i just charge it.. lol meh.
no my tv doesnt pan and scan . pan/scan is for 4:3 tv sets. Also the tv isnt "in zoomed mode or 4:3 mode" im absolutely sure its just a misprint... i popped in the descent (also listed on the box as 2.35:1, as well as a fellow lionsgate release) and sure enough, i get the black bars, swapped the movies a few times and i get the same results... so for the record:
Crank is full screen 16:9 .
