Continuing with the trend of bringing you some great media as the system launch draws closer, today we bring you some images of the upcomign shooter Prey. This game is sort of like Turok on steroids, but with some absolutely jaw dropping visuals to go along with it.

Jaw dropping? I'll admit the first few screenshots look pretty good, but the last three look godawful for a next-gen console. Come on, they look like they could be pulled off on current-gen consoles!

I think it looks corny, thats bout it.

Really the only game I'm looking forward to on xbox360 is the new halo game when ever it comes out.

I'm looking forward to the same launch titles that everyone else is looking forward to; Gears of War, PGR3, PD0, etc. I won't be buying a 360 until a price drop, or when I have enough money, because I plan on getting the PS3 first.

look the 12 minute gameplay-movie and judge again, prey is looking very promising, could even throw hl2 from the egoshooter-throne....

It's nice to see that Prey is again in developement, I was hoping to play it when it was in developement around same time as original Unreal.

But yes it looks like it might be fun, much of it depends on level designers.

I agree with Unr3stricted, Halo 3 for it's own sake will have to be greatly improved from Halo 2. And the movie thing is really stupid, turning a successful franchise into a movie in my opinion is a desperation attempt to get people interested in the franchise again. I've often said things about games like, "Wow, this would make a great movie or book." but when they do something like that it really disappoints me. If the games play great and have a great storyline, it shouldn't need a movie to get people to talk about it. When they decide to turn Halo into amovie, it just shows me that they won't have the storyline to keep us in the game...

This game uses the Doom 3 engine, so don't expect it to look 'next gen' and the PC version is what I'm getting anyway so

What happened to your usual way of good posts? Read the rules and don't jump the curse filter again. ~Damnit

Quake 4 uses the D3 engine too, so I guess that won't look next gen on 360 either.

The Humble Sony: What NOT being in 1st Place means for Sony

Work in Progress....

Initial Synopsis: Basically it is an editorial detailing how Sony is handling not being in 1st place for the first time. With the PS1 and PS2, Sony is used to being the top dog and the dominator of the industry, but now they are behind competitors such as Nintendo and Microsoft and for the first time, Sony is looking at the whole race from the bottom of the pack. Finally we get to see a Sony who realizes that they are indeed Mortal and that the industry does not revolve around them. As a company, what strives are they taking to insure that they can garner back the #1 spot?

Also how will this effect the fans of the Sony Brands?

Hey just wanted to clarify why I haven't approved it a little better.

I notice that you did that PSP feature, which was great.

This is quite different though. It's a much bigger challenge, and not something most, if not all, of us have the knowledge or ability to do. Remember, if you write an opinion piece, it's PSU's opinion, not just yours. It means we have to be really careful who writes what.
