Porn wont be the deciding factor in this format war, since porn is so accessible via the internet. When Betamax and VHS were a brawlin, porn was not rampantly decaying the internet.

It's true. Porn really wont be a deciding factor this time around. Now that most people have the internet, they can download porn for less than it would cost to get it on DVD or HD-DVD.

Either way I dont see this "ban" lasting for very long. Sony was reluctant to allow porn on UMDs and we all know how that turned out.
My games: Metal gear solid 4, Warhawk, Rock band, Resistance, Ridge racer 7, unreal tournament 3,disgaea 3, pixeljunk monsters, tekken dark ressurection, soul calibur 4, dragonball Z burst limit, super stardust HD, elder scrolls 4.

I saw this on digg.com, then I looked at the comments section on the article. I had no idea there were that many retards on digg.com, it is now officially off my view list.

Today Porn is not as decisive as it was 30 years ago for the betamax/vhs battle since at that time, porn at home was a revolution.

But as it is mentioned, porn is easily available everywhere with many VOD TV channels some of them in HD.

Do we really need HD for porn ? I am not quite sure. DVD is good enough imho.

That said, if the porn ban exists on BR, all I can say is that it is ridiculous and it is stupid.
    life is short, enjoy it

Why do you want porn on Blu Ray anyway?

    The internet is for porn!

Seriously - once you see those "babes" in hi def - you'll realise that they are not as nice as you think.

No porn on Blu Ray doesn't phase me one bit - and it won't ruin the format as it did beta, as, like mentioned before - the web is here, as is DVD - which will work on Blu Ray.

    It's obvious really

If your'e married porn is a no go anyways. Some females see it as adultery. (Not married BTW.)

Anyways yep Porn won't be the deciding factor now.

The internet and faster speeds people are getting these days will take care of Porn.
