At least, some porn are making their way onto BR :

Where porn goes, so goes the industry. It has been proven whoever the porn industry backs will win the media war. Look at dvd! Once the porn industry backed the format vhs and laserdiscs were no where to be found.

That arguement does not work in this situation. DVD was the choice by all movie companies to replace VHS. There was no competition.
Laserdisc was an experiment during the 90's to provide higher quality video and sound, but the high cost $50 and the large discs and the fact that they needed to be switched and flipped (later there came players that auto flipped) led to its decline. Also, the higher quality video took up more space. Top quality LD's (like Jurassic Park) took up 1 LD per hour.
In the consumer world, convenience is incredibly important; that helped LD's fail. I bought my last LD in 1997 when I was finally able to get more DVD's than LD's.

Ummm, I enjoy porn and all...but do we need "Hi-Def". I mean, I hear actors complaining that these HD Cameras pick up the slightest dimple or blemish...I dunno if i wanna see a HD Load being sprayed all over the place. But I'm sure one movie will change my mind! BRING ON THE HDP (high-def-porno)
Currently have: Call of Duty 4, Def Jam: Icon, Grand Theft Auto 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Mortal Kombat II, Resistance: FoM, Skate, Super Puzzle Fighter HD Turbo, Super Star Dust HD, Uncharted

I wonder how long it would take people to burn 200GBs of pr0n onto a BluRay disc.

That's what I thought. How can they prevent this?
There are already a few porn titles out in Japan on Blu-ray.

What I find very interesting is that many webzines, actually almost all, continue to spread the false news and concluding to the death of BR format, when a little research makes it clear there will be p*** on Blu-ray. That shows how honest are the people running such websites.
Internet is really the paradise for FUD.life is short, enjoy it
