Guys, do any of you else have a yellow tint on the XMB interface? It's kinda distracting. Anyone else have this strange thing occurring? Is this normal, or is their something wrong with my tv?

Is there anyway to change the background colors on your own through settings? Like Theme Settings on the PSP?

This has been brought up before, all you have to do is change the month in your settings and you can see all the colors. It slowly fades to the color of the month. At night it is black and gray.

JFC... are we going to have these stupid posts every freakin month? Everytime someone new gets a ps3, a few weeks later they come on here with "what the hell? My xmb is Puce!" It changes color. Do a search.

no because it doesnt just change like the snap o the old finger.
it slowly changes. on the middle day of the month it is at its strongest, and then slowly starts fading into next months color. so you cant just change it, unless you can speed up time. AKA thats why you didnt start seeing it until today.

I like that it changes colours, and very gradually. I think the yellow is nice too, kinda like a sunrise or something.

it has to be during the day...like noon till later..you'll see it
-

Set your time to noon to get the color the brightest (fades in and out during the day), then have fun changing the months to see the different colors and change the days to see the fade between two months. The background color change is extremely gradual on the PS3 compared to the PSP which is instantaneous.

I was playing earlier today and didn't notice the yellow tint. I'll check it out closer tomorrow to see if it is yellow.

The PS3 changes on a monthly basis and daily basis.
So what happens is, the PS3 fades to another color instead of just switching over in 1 day. So from 15th you will see the color become yellowish, and slowly it will start to become bright yellow, by the time its Feb it will be completely Yellow to start off with that month. Then if say March is pink, slowly as days pass by it will change to pink.
Daily basis just works depending on time of day in your area, so if its like 12 am or 1pm its like really bright, and then at around 7 / 8pm or w/e its all black.
