Playstation Network connection right now

How is your connection to the Playstation Network right now? It is 10:42 PM for me here on the east coast and damn, it is CRAWLING for me right now. Occasionally the network will be down for me (tops once every other week), but it has never been on but been this SLOW. I can't even get into the store, and the buddy list took me about 5 minutes to load up. It isn't my wireless internet because my router is fine with laptops right now etc... just wondering if it is only me experiencing this and if it is widespread do you think Sony is upgrading the servers/fixing bugs or something?

Mine is slow, but that is because my sister is home from college and chewing up our bandwidth like no other.

Yah I keep getting timed out and then put back in but it's too slow to actually do anything.

I rarely have problems with my connection to PSN. The web browser always seems a but laggy but I pretty much don't use the web browser on the PS3.

Yeah i find it a bit slow...takes awhile for friends avatars to load etc..get disconnected a few times a day but get right back on. I'm never really sure if it's my wireless connection or the server

i need help with my wireless ps3 connection. i have a linkysis router and i entered the i.p. and everything and it connects but signal strength is only 42%. when i go to download the updates is starts the work then boots me off and signs me out. i can even go into nba2k online and play about a quarter then it kicks me off. how do i fix this? thanks

Yeah ive got a thread on here ranting about CoD4 because my router is fine and my connection is dandy, yet i still manage to get one orange bar during games and this means I lag like mad around the map, some french dude shouted "ASSSASSSINNN YOU ARE MOONNN WALKINGG AAAAHHHAAAHHA" i coulda swung for him lol

i was playing warhawk and it was lagging real bad and it kept getting me disconnected, i thought it was just me

na happening for me too, i always have full green bars, but philly is have a snow storm so could be it, my cousin 5 minutes away too is orange. BUT if i host a game im full bar and everyone else is orange. so who knows

If your phone is running on 2.4ghz and is close to your router then that's probably the problem here.

Is anyone else having slow downloads on playstation network? I was downloading some demos and it is extremely slow tonight. I'm on 7mb roadrunner cable internet. I don't know if it's my provider or the playstation network. On my computer i'm getting full speed.
