Well, wouldn't that involve uploading files to the server of this forum? Then that would mean a bigger server, which is more money... ect. I don't think this site could support something like that just based off of the free ps3/xbox360 ads on the front page. Hotlinking and imageshack do just fine for now.

Alot of the forums that have this are usually PHPBB for free ones hosted on their server not their own, same goes for invision and invision plus for free...

i think this is a great idea! i was going to ask but you beat me. this would really make posting pics alot easier then having to go through photobucket or something.

Well said, it should be an easy add-on, or the admins may just have this disabled !

Wouldn't that mean the people who post spam in their topics also may upload a virus in their attachments?

12-14-2005 #14the uplaoding either needs to have a separate huge server or it will use up all the space here and with all the members there are it will make it go really slow. but if they did find a way it would be awsome to upload movies and stuff.what is the problem with an attachment button, i think it can only helpexactly they also would need to find a way to scan for them too.Wouldn't that mean the people who post spam in their topics also may upload a virus in their attachments?

This idea would suck cause it would need alot of maintenance and memory requirements which is just pointless when theres sites like imageshack and photobucket (prefer imageshack though)
What someone should do that is good with making code for phpBB forums, someone should make an interface that will let you upload an image to imageshack and return the link to you, but do it all seamlessly so it looks like you are actually uploading to the forum.
Maybe i will go look into that and see if i can actually find anything like it or ask if anyone would want to try have a bash at it
It is possible to do, it might just be awkward to make cause it would need to be restricted to run under the forum and not under html as a whole..I have no signature.
No, really, i don't. You're just imagining this.

Final Fantasy XIII available to pre-order on Amazon
By: Justin Pinter
Today Amazon.com listed Final Fantasy XIII for pre-order. According to Amazon, Final Fantasy XIII will release November 30, 2008 for $59.99.

Final Fantasy XIII was the first announced PS3 title by Square Enix back in E3 2006. The player assumes the role of a women named Lightning who is banished from the sky city of Cacoon to live in the shadowy world below.
So far, Shiva is the only confirmed summon, but you can count that Square Enix will bring back some familiar faces.
Stay tuned to PSU for more information.

Erm...personally I don't think this is news.
We've been able to preorder it on Amazon UK for ages, and on there is says 30th July 2008.
Unless Seb feels otherwise, I don't think this should go up.
