Yes it is. Right under the "availability" line and above the "download bonus" line it says "Format: Blu-Ray". I heard a lot of stuff is gonna be cut out of the DVD due to law suits against the guy who made the movie. That sucks!

I hope the Blu-Ray version comes out in-store on the same day the DVD is released. The quality of Borat may not be that great, but what a better way to support Blu-Ray + landing one of the funniest movies of 2006 in your collection.

I have some friends in Russia and they said that this movie was banned in several countries around that region. They said that it was because it showed an unrealistic way of life and made fun of people from that region. I have never been there, but I will believe my friends before I take something from a comedian as fact! Having said that...

I watched this movie at the theater and it was funny as hell. I was waiting for it on DVD, but now that I found out that it is coming to Blu-Ray, I'll get the Blu-Ray version instead. I really hope that they don't cut anything from that movie. On the contrary, I want them to add extras and stuff that they couldn't show on theaters. Well... now that I think about it, they cuould cut out the part where Borat and his friend (I don't remember his name) were fighting naked! I don't take this movie seriously, it's just a comedy. I don't make fun of the ex-USSR region. I just like the movie because it is very funny as many others.

The nude wrestling part was a bit too much for me. Lots of others would agree. But for the most part, I think Borat wasn't trying to be that funny - I think he was trying to ask questions that called for strange responses (some amusing, some offensive). A funny part to one guy may be not-so-funny to the next.

While Borat is a great movie I found that it is one of those sad movies that is ONLY funny the first time and actually gets less funny the more times you watch it, you know what I am talking about if the more times you watch a movie the less it actually makes the FIRST time you saw the funny, this is one of those movies, don't BUY it.. .. . .. ..

If you see nothing wrong with it, then something is wrong with you, even my GF said that was gay.As well as my father, who said "he got some sugar in him". See what is funny is how the world brain wash you kids into thinking things are ok.
