X-Box 2 Possibly Leaked Designs (Pics Included)

We’re not sure if these are legit or not, but an anonymous tipster who claimed to be a part of a focus group for the upcoming Xbox 2 sent us some questionable screengrabs of two of the “logos and console designs being considered for the next generation Xbox system” (that quote according to the focus group material we saw). We’d send ‘em back to the drawing board if it we were in that focus group, but supposedly they’ve got more cooking—it’d be pretty foolish if they didn’t—so we’ll see.
I saw these on a website, I think the logo of the first one looked like a rip-off of the Sony Walkman logo, so it's most likely isnt a leaked-official design.
PS3 Fund: £550 (waiting for EU launch)
Games I will get: Resistance: Fall of Man, Rainbow Six Vegas, F.E.A.R.

Those are all fakes. I've seen them many times on internet forums.

Once again, I believe that people will be shocked and impressed by the stylized design of Xbox2 (or whatever it is called)

    We'll see .

As long as it doesn't look like a block, like XB1 did. They really need to shake that big, bulky image.

    Ohh they have.

MS didn't design this one alone.

Big - Debatable. Some people will always complain about size. Some people thought the PS2 was too big.

Bulky - I think Ackward would be a better word for this. GC is also ackward for instance. You couldn't put it anywhere by normal electronics due to it's shape and top loading nature. Xbox could only lay flat. Due to it's size you also couldn't squeeze it in anywhere. I don't believe that this will be a problem with the new design.

Well its good to hear that Microsoft are working on improving the ergonomics of the XB2.

I don't think the term 'big' in this case is particularly debatable. In comparison to both the old and the new versions of PS2, Xbox is definitely larger.

In terms of my opinion; 'that Xbox is big' - well that statement may be debateable, but what I meant was in comparison to PS2, Xbox is big.

I think that the X-Box is cool. You can do so much with it. But, I do hope that they come up with some better games. The only ones I'd bother buying are ones that are out for all 3 main consoles. But that's just my opinion!

Wouldn't that exclude great games like GTA, Halo, Timesplitters etc...

Those are good games, but I wouldn't bother buying the X-Box for all those games. I wasn't saying that it was all crap but that PS and Nintendo just have better games. Nintendo's famous for Zelda, Mario, 1080, etc. PS is great for Final Fantasy, basically everything made by Square is awesome. But that's just my opinion. Everyone reading this may hate those games and love Rainbow 6, etc.

Your also mentioning old games..look into the present and ahead to the future. Those games give the systems a good reputation but that doesnt mean they have great games right now. Yes I know they do, but Im making a point and showing you the flaw in your argument.

Unfortunately Nintendo is killing their franchises. With equivelent installed base Zelda WW sold 1/5th what Zelda OoT did. With 5 times the Installed base Mairo SS sold 1/5th what Mario 64 did.

Their only titles that are really doing well anymore are SSB and Mario Kart.
