    http://www.hddvdprg.com/eng/list.html

The inclusion in the January 29 update of our "Coming Soon List" of three Steven Spielberg classics was an error on our part. The HD DVD Promotion Group expresses sincere apologies to Steven Spielberg, Universal Studios Home Entertainment and HD DVD fans for this mistake. We will endeavor to prevent any similar mistake and to provide accurate information

Wow, could we see some shift. Is Spielberg a Blu Ray fan? (rhetorical)

Either that or he was not paid and they used his name without permission. It can be taken either way, but I hope we see his movies on Bluray.

Thats a nice find, lol. Now universal has all the more reason to switch w/o Spielberg.

If Universal switched, Spielberg still wouldnt release on BR. He doesnt release his movies until the players have reached a large enough audience of people. He did the same with DVD

Good News Good News....for the blu ray camp..

As for the customer, I agree with the above posts, don't think we will see his movies out to soon.
Along with all his classic movies are some classic marketing agendas

Yeah whenever a Speilberg movie is released for the first time, they put up big cardboard displays and stuff. They'll wait till everyone's got a BD player.

Although I don't care for technology wars, especially movie ones, as I rent all mine, it's undebatable anymore; Blu-ray has won.

As much as I want ot agree with the others I think you are right about this one. It's not that he has chosen BLu ray over HD-DVD, they did it without his permission and like someone else said, he won't releaseon Blu ray or HD-DVD until it becomes more main stream. I bet the BLu ray camp would have gotten the same reaction if the shoe was on the other foot

It didn't say he chose Blu ray, I want Blu ray to win as much as you do but this does not say that .

If E.T. makes it to blu-ray, I'll go out at launch and buy it, a HDTV and, a PS3.

He was smart like George Lucas when he makes his films. This is odd being Spielberg's movies are mostly made by Universal as we all know back up HD DVD.
