I'm in toronto, ontario and use Rogers, but I never got decent gaming with it. If you know any better service than that, please tell me cause the fastest service on it I see give 6.0Mbps download/1Mbps upload for $100!

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6153997.htmlNew patent Woes For Sony
Perhaps inspired from the Immersion win against Sony in a lawsuit, Agere Systems is suing Sony for eight patent infringements. The culprit products range from consoles such as the PlayStation 2 and PSP to personal appliances such as VAIO computers and Handycams; The list even includes the PlayStation 3 console which is scheduled to be launched this November.
Agere Systems is suing for damages based on Sony's profits from the alleged infringements, and says that since Sony knowingly infringed on their patents, they should be paid up to three times what the damages would have been otherwise.
Sony on the other hand, has denied these patent infringement claims and insists that it has rights to use seven of the eight patents through a deal signed with AT&T and Lucent in 1989. It should also be noted that it was Lucent's microelectronics group which later became the Pennsylvania-based Agere Systems.
Sony has also asked the judge to declare the patents invalid, and also claims that a few of the patents were not "properly obtained" because Agere Systems omitted important information when it filed for them.
Agere Systems has demanded a jury trial and other details have yet to be released. Why do people depend on eachother? ...When in the end your on your own.
