That’s a difficult one. I didn’t really get into the Resi series until Code Veronica

shock! I absolutely loved it though. Devil May Cry was really cool as well though, so that’s a tough one! I didn’t much like the story line to DMC though, so perhaps going against what everyone else will say, I've gotta go with Resi : Code Veronica.

I enjoy Resident evil 2. Not because of gameplay or particular story line but I am thinking towards sentimental value.

I've lost intrest in Capcom, the first couple of Resident Evils were great but after that the substance appeared to be lacking. Hope they come out with a new major franchise because the RE series is getting old.

Outbreak is the new name for the next Resident Evil game. It was going to be called Resident Evil Online but they have scraped that option now I believe.

A couple of years ago there was a whispering in the gaming industry. It said that a new Resident Evil game was planned for the PS2, an online game. When Capcom revealed that they would be making the Resident Evil series Gamecube exclusive it seemed that Resident Evil Online could never happen as Nintendo have been outspokenly anti-online. However it seems that the exclusivity deal did not extend to online games (or the Survivor series for that matter) and Capcom continued work on Resident Evil Online or, as it was recently renamed, Resident Evil Outbreak. There is a lot that is not known about Resident Evil Outbreak. It has been said that there will be an offline mode but no info has been released about that. I know there are 8 characters and several None Player Characters but it is still unknown how the plot goes. I know that your character can become infected and turn into a zombie but it is still unknown how that will really work. In short, Resident Evil Outbreak will, hopefully, be an incredible game but there is still too much that isn't known about it.

My personal feelings about this game are slightly confused. I am truly sick of hearing gamecube gamers moaning that Resident Evil Outbreak is breaking the exclusivity deal by coming out on PS2. My conclusion is this. Okay, so Gamecube exclusive really should mean exclusive but, on the other hand, if that was true, Resident Evil Outbreak could not be released as Nintendo have been distinctly anti-online. So I consider it a good thing for gaming in general and Resi fans in particular that Outbreak is coming out for PS2.

Devil May Cry hands down, the second one wasn't very good, and I never liked the Resi games, DMC is the first game I've REALLY enjoyed playing since Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (excellent game).

My favorite would have to be Resident Evil 2. I love that game and still play it from time to time.

i just played devil may cry 3 and having a hard time with it, its a hard game. iam at the part where you fight that 3 headed dog in the icy cave of some sort and its really giving me a hard time. does anybody know how to beat that boss.

I like Resident evil 2 the most.RE2 and DMC1 too. if you had DMC3 up there then maybe I would had made a different choice. but RE2 was one of the best. RE4 is also a great game.
