all i know is BB or CC BETTER have this in stock or ill be severely upset. (They didnt have the departed either)
3.5 hours left till i get off work...
also (ive yet to see this movie) how is it? i hear really good things, and it has 2 of my favorite actors, bale and jackman so it MUST be good.

I don't know anything about this movie, seems like people like it though..might look into it. Oh yeah, and the actuall Walmart store really sucks when it comes to BD or HD-DVD...they got like 10 titles :/ . But 4 of them for Blu-ray were sold out HD-DVD were all in stock

PS3 is winning this console war. The funny thing is that I bet gamers that have ps3s and sdtvs are buying blu-ray. It's pretty stupid for them , but thanks for the support.
Can't wait to get a flat panel. I just might have to splurge when GT5 comes out. I can't just not be able to play when I'm moving between work and school.

I picked up a copy at best buy on Tuesday.
Watched it last night, very nice. I like how you can axcess the menu why watching the movie.
This was my first of many blu-ray purchases.

On AVS is seems it will get Tier 0 treatment, if not very high 1. Some are saying its better than Crank... where there is hardly any room for improvement anyway...

In typical fashion, I can't find a copy of this movie anywhere other than Amazon.com. It sucks that I have to wait the extra time for shipping, but the fact that they have had both "The Departed" and "The prestige" in stock ready to ship immediately is top notch.
Just sucks that I have to pay international shipping....ouch.

why is that stupid? high definition is the future, and when they upgrade there televisions eventually they will be able to take advantage of what they purchased.......until then, they can still watch and enjoy the movie at standard definition.........seems reasonable enough to me. yeah, there's nothing stupid about investing in the future... if i had the choice to buy a standard DVD or the BD version and i have a PS3 and have the ablility to play the BD, i'd go with it...

i bought this movie at my local bestbuy the day it came out and i must say the video and sound quality are Amazing! i have a hd dvd player for my 360 and the quality was decent but this my first blue ray movie since i got my ps3 last saturday and i am very impressed!

-Ps3 60 gig !!!
-Samsung HL-S5087W 50 inch 1080p DLP tv with Panasonic surround sound system!

It may be sold out because Wal-Mart gets a max of 5 copies of any new blu-ray releases, I was actually quite dissapointed with the amount of BD wal-mart carries, Best Buy and sadly even Target has a better selection. That said the Prestige is one of my favorite movies of 2006 and will be added to my collection tomorrow when I swing by BB, great fantastic MOVIE, 2 thumbs up!

that does nto tell me anything, Walmart is taking a very laid back approach to blu-ray and HDVD for all we know they only ordered a qty of 2000 and thats all they had so they sold out already..
If they had 100 copies of an HD-DVD title and its sold out all the time would you think HD-DVD was winning the nextgen race?

The actual walmart store had Prestige in stock as well and Babel and the Departed

I rented Prestige last night and I really like the movie. And my favorite was the CRAZY twist at the end
