Hi guys, I'm stuck on the mission where you go to the aircraft carrier and steal the jet. I have no problem getting to and stealing the jet, but the problem comes once I get in it.

The game gives incredibly vague instruction on how to fly it (it's that hover jet) and says something about using the right analog to contol the thrusters or something. I've tried holding X, but that just makes me go up ^, and I've tried using the left analog, but that just steers, and when I use the right analog, noting happens. Help would be great
