Monster hunter 1 sold more than 650 000 in NA ... so it comes there too..
dunno how many it sold on Europe...

Japan NEWEST TREND. Monster games. I think a lot of companies out there will now make monster games for the PSP now. Sony need to increase their productions too. There's no doubt in my mind that capcom will release monster Hunter 3 for the PSP within 2 years from now.


If this game sold 500 K in one day, there's a good chance it'll reach over 3 millions in Japan and possible over 5 millions worldwide.

PSP isn't gonna nowhere.

Actually I remember something like that too. I didn't know what monster hunter was until about 6 months ago and didn't think there would be anyone around on the PS2 version so I never tried it out. If there is a PS3 version then I'm definately in.

to the contrary my friend you can still go on line on Monster Hunter and find people to play with in the PS2 version not as many as when the game first came out but a solid 500 people during the day and a good 250 during the evening and nights.

MH fans are so loyal Monster Hunter freedom did well here so MHF2 will be released here also. As for MH3 well it's coming to the PS3 end of 07 - mid 08

Hopefully Capcom can give us a time line but who knows. MH was the reason I didn't even consider 360 sure there were plenty other reasons but MH has been my favorite game for the last 2+ years so it was a no brainer

Very, very impressive numbers. Hopefully the new colour PSP that was bundled with the game sold like crazy too, because I want to see PSP sales sky rocket besides just Monster Hunter selling like crazy. I want to see them both do great.

Ah geez I should have checked into it better. I only assumed it wasn't being played that much anymore but it looked really interesting to me. Here's to hoping we see a PS3 version.

The origin plan for MHP2 first shipment is 400000.

Capcom add it to 700000 because the demand is too strong.

you know your right I'm expecting full or at least detailed damage modeling for the PS3 version of this game. Because busting off los's crown and claws were all well and fine but it would be cool to be able see bruises or some other type of damage modeling to take the experience to the next step.

I'm a 1st gen hunter URLK look me up it's P209 on MH tell me your from PS3forums we will hunt together if you still play MH that is I know a lot of people have moved on to PSU and MHF
