I kept seeing multiple threads on the same thing, like the most recent FFVII remake thread when there's already one before it. So, if there's a stickied thread listing the threads for games, it'd make it less likely to make multiple threads on the same thing. If this is in effect, whether a person make a thread about something about a game, that thread should be listed.

Huh, that would mean a lot of compiling no? We have that ever so great "search" function, it acts as a thread searcher. Just, sometimes people don't use it and post the same thread. The mods do their best to keep this from happening but every now and then a hot thread might stay open because it might shy away from it's original copy.

That is why I think we should have a database I mentioned awhile ago. Call it the "Pinboard" or something. Have it hold all the specs, calendar for upcoming games and events, reviews on games and movies etc. :P

It sure is possible, I do it for other boards I work on. But the downside is you need someone who has the time and will to maintain the database. Plus you need a software to handle it (postnuke is good) and or someone who knows coding etc. Can even make it search base I suppose.

This sounds good, I have seen things like this on other forums like code indexes etc... I hope someone will volunteer to do this! (I don't honestly have enough time to though...)
