Yeah, probably lots of hits there.

That sentence was taken from a recent interview Yoichi Wada (president of Square Enix) had.
Summarizing, he was refering to High Definition and the graphics quality the PS3 will reach.

Anyone expecting a TV spot very hi-tech with gameplay, showing another world graphics, will be disapointed.

These TV spots are targeting the mass market audience, not hardcore gamers.

I know the reporter blew it big time...he said mention the release date etc, and then: "the only question remaining is if the PAL PS3 is coming with BD or HDDVD"...LOL.

Regarding your signature, it´s reasuring to know compaines like SE are confident in the graphic power of the PS3!

I didn't catch the part about the PAL PS3... ROFL, but I remember the reporter speaking about both the BD and HDDVD formats and saying the winner is not known yet!

From a cinematography perspective it was nicely shot. But IMO marketing perspective needs a bit of work. Besides the narrative, sadly the visuals don't heighten my decision to buy the console. Why weren't we supplied with any gaming visuals?

Yes it's slow, yes there's no game preview... but it has the right mood!

That was directed towards the UK, And after seeing to many brittish documentarys I've gotten tired of that narrator voice feeling, aahrgh!

Ugh, Sony really needs to work on there marketing, I dont see how this would appeal to non-gamers or gamers, I showed my dad this and he just didn't find it appealing at all.

Now the playb3yond videos.. cut them a little shorter and there you have some good advertisement. I've convinced many people who weren't sure of the PS3 by using that site alone.
