right,what is the difference between psx and ps3?? i saw on a site that there was a psp which was a handheld playstation and now theres a psx which looks really cool and when i saw the pictures i thought it was the ps3 so whats the ps3?? im really confused bout them all!

The PSX is a combination PS2 and DVR. It is like a TiVo that can play PS2 games basicly.

This section of the Forums seems almost pointless now. It's pretty dead, and there's nothing much to really talk about. Hardly any people own a PSX, and most never will.

i agree, but lots of new users to this forum havent even ever heard of the PSX (as i havent heard of it before this forum) so the only thing now we can do is keep it on the forums.

well, if there is a playstation fan they will probibly want to know everything about playstation to prove to themselves that they're really fans. so i guess its just for your own knowledge (to know about the PSX)

The PSX is coming back, but it will be a model based on the PS3.

It will is currently scheduled to come out PS3 launch + 12 - 15 months.

Games only. I would probably get the Home Entertainment if I had the money and all. Plus, I don't really need all that other stuff. I don't ever use it. So games only with the Blu-Ray player.

I also plan to get the game only PS3 since I aswell dont really use the whole home entertainment thing, but of course you are able to play movies on the game only version so really, its not game only

Sony HAS redone both main consoles they've come out with...the Playstation turned into the PS1, then they took the PS2, made it smaller and added the built-in Network Adaptor, so I'd say I'd make sense for Sony to release the PSX as sort of a upgraded PS3.
