newb here sharing his thoughts on ps3

hey, i actually just found out that they r gonna be releasing ps3 in liek the next year or so,2006 i hear it is. newyz, i'm a little bumed because, i mean dont get me wrong, i love playstation, but the thing about counsols is that every few years they release a new one and stop amking games and then it seems like even though you might be a true gamer, unless u can afford to buy a new system everytime a new comes out then you are always going to be behind and then all the money that you spend on your current system seems wasted because there is somthing new and better. i mean i like ps1 becuase it lasted for such a long time,a nd i bought a ps2 because i thought it might also last for a long time, i know though that it woudln't last as long as ps1 but still. now that i heard within a year or so there is going to be a ps3, it seems liek i now have to buy a ps3 but then there will be a ps4 and the cycle continues. i know its business and this is how things work but...still. it makes it a lot harder for peopel who really love gaming to keep up. i know it seems liek a bunch of complaining and thats probably becuase it is but. how do you feel about this? and i hear the ps3 is going to completly change gaming as we know it. so if i dont buy it then i'm gonna be really behind and the cycle continues.

Endless Saga Cancelled

PS3Land.com recently contacted Webzen, developers of upcoming games; APB, Huxley, and PS3 title Endless Saga. We emailed Webzen to ask about the rumors circling the net to whether Endless Saga has been officially cancelled.

The PR of Webzen got back to us and this is what they said:

"We have recently decided to cancel the Endless Saga project. Endless Saga was one of our ambitious development projects to enter into the next generation console market. However, after some rigorous development effort, we found the gameplay of Endless Saga to be short of innovation and creativity we seek to achieve in online gaming space."

They went on to further add, "Webzen has diverse portfolio of titles for upcoming release: Soul of the Ultimate Nation, Huxley, APB and a slew of other exiting games. Huxley and APB are under development for PC online and Xbox360 . We still have a plan to enter into PS3 market and I'll let you know when we're prepared to bring something more valuable and fun to PS3 gamers."

Endless Saga was one of the most looked to MMORPG's if not the only MMORPG headed to the PS3. This further shows that Sony needs to get on it, because they are loosing exclusive titles left and right. Its nice however to see that Webzen is continuing their developements in their other titles since Huxley is shaping up to be a highly anticipated Xbox 360 and PC title.

PS3Land.com will let you know when Webzen decides to go back to the PS3 and when development begins on a new PS3 title.
