So since he was acting like the lead member, I assumed he was the Imam...and likely owns the place too.

I did not notice the ALLAH that was written there from laughing very hard the first time Lol!!!

and you're right they are Muslims it seems!! but, I'm pretty sure now they are not Sunni, most probably Shia. They have different beliefs and such. they also have a weird festival every year were they hurt and punish themselves which is really weird!!

Yea it could be both though. There's a slight difference between the turbans Afghans wear and the turbans Sikh wear.

While they look similar, there's a very distinct difference and it's always there.

They could be Shia definitely but with Shias, they always emphasize Ali more than Allah (just from anecdotal evidence, I'm not claiming this). So we would've seen either Ali or Hussain.

Yea the punishing is part of their religion...which used to scare the fuck out of me but I'm not scared now...though people mistake it as a Muslim thing (well I guess it is because Shias ARE Muslims too but they're a minority).

I think we've derailed enough lol. I always thought this was a western thing but very interesting to see this happens over in the east too lol.
