At the base of it - it is.

What else was Joe supposed to say? And I don't see any athlete that considers themselves either the best, or in the thick of it. At least at a skill position.

Whether other people agree or not is not the issue.

I feel like (no offense mate) that you're a bit of a contrarian. I don't mean it as an insult a tall. Just bloody annoying.

I'm just going to test it now actually. Here goes - "I think eating faeces is not okay".

    Your turn Dave...

Sucks for the Bolts/Matthews. Who do they have back there covering for him? (Not that it matters since they'll be throwing it a lot anyway).

Might be a sleeper back for the Bolts.

Also, Brandon Weeden getting a healthy dose of snaps. Can't watch the game at work but will have to check it out on Gamepass.

About the Dolphins having a poor offensive line, it depends on what years you are talking about.

By the way, whoever the Bengals' GM is he's good at what he does. Andy Dalton was a 2nd round pick and he's definitely the real deal. You don't see a lot of 2nd round QBs pan out, that's some good scouting.

Bout to take part in a 20-team Fantasy Football League -- first time ever in a league that size...this should be pretty insane.

Ugh, the dolphins looked terrible last night . If Philbin is the answer at head coach, he'll know how to light a fire under both the defense and offense.

Gabbert looked good with the Jaguars. So Tampa Bay is back and the Jaguars look improved. If only Miami could get back to par, then it would be great to be an NFL fan in the state of Florida.

My Browns played fairly well against the Packers the other day with a 35-10 asswhooping. The Packers' no. 2 QB Harrell is trash.

The Packers defense is so terrible, it's completely killed any chance they have of winning another Super Bowl at this point. It makes me believe more and more that the year they won the Super Bowl, Clay Matthews was juicing like nobodies business... You can tell this guy was on steroids at some point in his career by looking at his early college photos and what he looks like each year afterwards... Dude was much smaller than grew big over night...shady as hell.

I'm surprised the Fins didn't name Mrs. Tannehill as starting QB with all the press she was getting.

You are a hater, no offense meant.

Anyone who says Tannehill is going to have a Gabbert first year, knowing the 2011 Jaguars were a worse team, is a hater.

He's only played 19 college games, is the third QB in the draft, and he's a project. Improving so much to become a clear starter along with good stats is more than "meh" to me.

Even with his passes batted down (bad O line play) and drops (bad WR and TE play), he still had decent stats in the Panthers' game.

Sorry, I meant that for Mrs. Tannehill.

In regards to Mr. Tannehill - I don't think he'll be as bad as Blaine anymore (that was mostly to counter his overhypitiy-ness - yes, that's a word ), but having no WRs, a patchy O-line, won't help him/

His best bet is Reggie and the running game.

But, his mobility will help him.

Mrs. Tannehill is pretty and Ryan isn't ugly either. They make a good couple.
