Chiefs player kills girlfriend, then kills himself.

    54th Street and Chrysler Avenue
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - Police are investigating two deadly shootings Saturday morning that they said are related.

The shootings involve a Chiefs player and his girlfriend.

The first shooting was reported about 8 a.m. at a home near 54th Street and Chrysler Avenue. The second shooting was reported a short time later at a Chiefs practice facility located on the Arrowhead facility.

True. I just hate when people do shit like that have no consideration to others. But i guess consideration goes out the window when you murder your gf. Referring to suicide in the club house.

Sometimes the humor in it helps ease some of the grief that people feel when they see/read stuff like this. I mean, the infant child is a victim of this. While the other two don't have to bare any responsibility for their future, the child is going to be scared for life to some extent.

Sad news; especially for the families involved, the child left behind, and those who have to deal with witnessing this.

Yep children are almost always the innocent bystanders in tragic situations like this.

That's not fair at all. We don't know all the specifics and, yes, what he did was terrible but we don't know the agenda or motive behind all of this. It could have been a mental illness that his family had a history with or it could have been caused by the repeated blows to the head. Or, you could be right, and it could just be a guy who snapped and did some terrible things.

The fact that he told Crennell, Pioli, and the LB Coach that he was sorry and thanked him for everything they had done for him leads me to believe that there was something deeper and darker at work. Nothing supernatural lol, but you know what I mean.

I just don't think it's fair to say something like that until we know a bit more about the situation. I mean, there were pics on FB of the family at Thanksgiving and they appeared to be normal and very happy.

I don't particularly care about, or need to know, some reasoning about why he did that. I don't see how it's not fair. It wasn't fair to who?

I just think that if there was a mental illness or some other contributing factor then it's not really a joking matter. I'm in the minority on this one, I know.

And the "That's not fair," comment i will go ahead and redact because I now realize you weren't making a general statement about Belcher saying that he was a terrible person, just that he did a terrible thing. Sorry about that.

From what I've been reading around, this guy deserves no sympathy. He had anger issues and treated his Gf like a tyrant frequently getting into fights with her."
Chiefs LB Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend than killed himself! His girlfriend went to a concert in KC with friends and got home at 1 am early this morning where he was very upset, which a fight ensued and he killed her and than himself".
