That was a terrible no call. I don't like either team so I'm not biased but that was a shit call. I feel bad for the 49ers. Clear hold

Good game! My brother is pissed beyond belief, but I wasn't rooting for either side, glad it wasn't a blow out.

Great game. Congrats to the Ravens. I love my 9rs but they learned a lesson tonight. You have to play 4 full qtrs of football. The first drive is one of the most important one's of the game. Kaepernick has secured his future though. Flaco will probably be MVP.

Yea, the Ravens forced Kap to make some tough passes and he surprised me by holding it together from that 1st half. 9rs Lost their poise in the 1st half and it ended up hurting them in the end. They came out flat and you can't do that with a team like the Ravens. I'm happy that Boldin finally got a ring though. That guy is a beast.

yea, he just might be Ok. I never thought he would shake that 1st half off. I don't think A. Smith could of played that well against a team like the Ravens. No way in hell Smith would of made that 15 yard run for that TD...lol He's got a hell of an arm and a good scrambler. He just needs to continue to play smart so he doesn't end up putting himself in bad situations like RGIII.

One thing that I think sets Kaepernick apart from other rushing qbs is that he really only runs when he has to or if it is very advantageous. The doesn't just sit in the pocket waiting for running holes to open up. He looks down field and sees if the play is broken down then he runs when he has to. That is a great asset to have at QB.

I don't see a lot of 49ers games, but I was really impressed by Kaepernick. After that horrendous first half, he really took control and played like a beast. That third quarter really blew up.

he does that sometimes. It good because you can stretch the defense and keep them off balance but he really needs to start reading the D more. Sometimes you have to look beyond the primary receiver and make throws and it seems he doesn't do that quite so well. It's seems to be a pretty common thing for rookies though. He does remind me a bit of Steve Young being that double threat. Except he is a hell of a lot faster. I can't remember the last time we saw a rookie perform this well in a game this big. I think Rothlisburger was in his second year but he played a shitty game only completing like 9 passes out of 21 but the Steelers still won the SB.

Yeah he is no master by any means. But he does pretty well for a 2nd year player. I'm just glad to see a very mobile QB not treat his talents like Michael Vick and run every single opportunity he sees. I was quite surprised how he came back from the 1st half and performed like he did. I honestly became a big fan of him through the year and especially tonight. I think he has a very high ceiling to get better.

lol..Vick is a good example of a great athlete who doesn't read defenses well. I think he even admitted it once. Kap is in a really good system at SF though now that they cleaned out the whole organization some years ago. Personally, I like a QB who can kill you with his legs as well as his arms but the risk of injury goes way up every time they cross that LOS because they aren't as protected anymore. And you know the D loves to get a free shot at the QB even when he attempts a slide....lol

Kap, RUss, RG3, Luck are all mobile and can read defenses.
I still think RG3 is the best of all those guys to read defenses as well as being the most mobile. Even Luck struggled more than RG3.
But right now, Kap's got that running game helping him out without having to read too much into the D. No doubt he can develop that providing they let him. But I think he and Russ are the smartest and most dangerous in terms of knowing when to go Oob and/or slide.

And they better stay that way because it can all change on one play. Just look at what happened with Alex Smith. He was on top until he scrambled and didn't slide when he was supposed too.
I still say RG3 need to put on some weight because although he is about 6ft 2 he is pretty small boned. A defender is more willing to take a shot at him rather than a huge guy like Cam Newton.
